And use pick up trucks to cut him off and force him to be contained&quest; None whatsoever&period; <br>&OpenCurlyQuote;Malice may be formed in moments&period; And instantly a fatal&comma; may be inflicted&period; <br>The lead prosecutor said of the defendants&colon; &&num;8220&semi;They started it&semi; they do not get to claim self-defense&period; And then&comma; of course&comma; provocation&period; You can&&num;8217&semi;t force someone to defend themselves against you so you get to claim self-defense&period; <br>&&num;8220&semi;This isn&&num;8217&semi;t the Wild West&period; <br>&&num;8220&semi;No&period; <br>&&num;8220&semi;So there&&num;8217&semi;s three instances where the defendants don&&num;8217&semi;t get to claim self-defense&comma;&&num;8221&semi; Dunikoski told the jury&period; <br>&OpenCurlyQuote;Because without Greg McMichael this would never have happened&period;’ Dunikoski was referring to the fact that the older McMichael had spotted Arbery running past their house in Satilla Shores and initiated the chase&period; <br>On the felony murder charges&comma; she said&colon; &OpenCurlyQuote;Again&comma; there is no intent to go ahead and kill the person&period; But because you committed that felony&comma; someone dies&period; All played a necessary and substantial part in causing the death of Ahmaud Arbery&period; <br>&OpenCurlyQuote;We have aggravated assault with a shotgun&period; Pretty simple&period; The aggravated assault was continuous&comma; Started with pulling that shotgun up&period; Ahmaud Arbery was 30 to 40 yards away&period; Not an imminent threat at all&period;  <br>&&num;8216&semi;And what did it do&quest; It ended with the pulling of the trigger&comma; shotgun blast here&comma; pellets right here&period; Did that felony contribute&quest; Of course it did&comma; it’s the cause of his &lpar;Arbery’s&rpar; death&period;’ <br>On the aggravated assault with pick up trucks allegation Dunikoski told the jury&colon; &OpenCurlyQuote;You do not have to hit the person with the pick-up truck&period; What did Mr&period; Bryan do&quest; <br>&&num;8216&semi;He actually ran him &lpar;Arbery&rpar; into a ditch&period;  <br>&&num;8216&semi;This contributed to his death&period; <br>Greg McMichael had no proof the young black man had committed any crime that day after he was spotted running from the partly-built home of neighbor Larry English&comma; said the prosecutor&period; <br>The McMichaels’ defense teams have claimed the father and son were trying to make a lawful citizen’s arrest under a Georgia law now repealed since the Arbery killing&period; <br>&OpenCurlyQuote;Greg McMichael assumed the worst&comma;’ said Dunikoski&period; &OpenCurlyQuote;And so I thought&comma; you know&comma; he’s running from somebody&period; He’s just done something&period; Because you know&comma; this guy’s been in and out of that damn house over and over and over again&comma; got him on videos and everything&period; <br>&OpenCurlyQuote;That is not sufficient for a citizen’s arrest&period; That is not probable cause&period; This is I don’t know what this guy’s doing but he’s running down the street real fast&period;
