Three men with connections with Hollywood have been arrested over the deaths of a model and a designer in Los Angeles last month.
David Pearce, 37, Brandt Osborn 42, both said to be actors and ‘director’ Mike Ansbach, 47, were booked on suspicion of felony offenses in connection with the deaths in callous circumstances, last month, of married model Christy Giles, 24, and her friend, interior designer Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola, 26.
A cloud of suspicion has hung for weeks over the three men who were allegedly, the last to see the women alive, hours earlier. 
Phone location data showed Giles and Arzola went back to Pearce’s apartment near Beverly Hills with the three men in the early hours of November 13 after an East LA warehouse party.
About 12 hours later the women’s cold bodies were dumped outside two different hospitals by men in balaclavas driving a black Toyota Prius with no plates. The men were caught on CCTV according to Giles’s husband, Jan Cilliers.

Dave Pearce was arrested at 11am on Wednesday by LAPD’s West Bureau. He has been charged with manslaughter. He and is being held in jail with bond set at $1million.  
Pearce’s roommate Brandt Osborn, was arrested shortly an hour and half later at 12:30pm and held on $100,000 bail.
The third suspect Mike Ansbach was also arrested on Wednesday and held on $100,000 bail. 
Osborn and Ansbach are charged as accessories to manslaughter.  

Video shows model Christy Giles, and her friend designer Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola, dancing and laughing in party just hours before they were dumped lifeless in front of two separate hospitals in Los Angeles, Calif.

The families of the two women said they believe Giles and Arzola were drugged before they were killed. 
Pearce and Ansbach were among a group who snuck into the warehouse party VIP section on November 13, ‘targeted’ Giles and Arzola, and acted ‘obnoxious’ and ‘crazed’, according to the women’s friend who was there that night.
A witness recounts seeing four men and a woman arrive, talk their way into a VIP area at the event and begin hugging strangers as if they knew them.
Two of the men acted ‘obnoxiously’, with Pearce taking off his shirt and flailing around, she said.

Ansbach she notes, seemed ‘completely sober’, had a professional camera and took a particular interest in Arzola, the friend said. The men allegedly, managed to insinuate themselves in conversation with her and one even put a jacket on the interior designer who moved from Mexico to LA.
‘They walked in acting very confident, and people are very easily fooled by confidence,’ according to the witness. 
‘They were able to weasel themselves into that area, they must have been there for maybe about 30 minutes or so until somebody noticed they didn’t have the right wrist bands and kicked them out. But I had already left by that point.
‘Their energy was off. Usually in this industry people are very cool and chill, and they’re respectful. But these men were obnoxious. 
‘They took their shirts off and started flailing around like they were on speed or something. There was a certain energy of craziness,’ the witness who is also friends with the the two dead women, said. 

LA Sheriff’s Dept Wednesday arrested and booked Dave Pearce who is held on $1million bond. His roommate Mike Osborn, was arrested shortly after at 12:30pm the same day. Osborn’s bond was set at $100,000. The third suspect, Mike Ansbach, was arrested at 11:10am on Wednesday and is held on $100,000 bond

‘One of them had a camera, a DSLR, which he pulled out and started filming the event. He seemed very sober. So I assumed that he was an event photographer or a videographer and then these were his friends.
‘Now I think it was a ruse maybe, perhaps a prop even, to do what they do.’ 
Ansbach describes himself on his Facebook page as a ‘director, DoP [director of photography], biohacker, neuroathlete’.
On Instagram he describes himself as a ‘cinematographer’ and ‘voice over artist’.
He has set up companies including P7 Media Group and Adrenaline Media Group LLC. 
He has been credited as a camera operator for numerous TV shows including Vanderpump Rules, Love and Hip Hop: New York, Total Knockout, and most recently, 2021 Netflix series Pet Stars, according to IMDb.
Osborn is a Staten Island native and actor who has had minor roles on television, according to his IMDb page. 
He was credited as ‘Kevin’s best man’ in a 2014 episode of Showtime comedy-drama Nurse Jackie. He was reportedly on the set of NCIS: Los Angeles at the time of his arrest.

Photographs and videos taken late the night before the women were left at the hospitals show Giles and Cabrales dancing and laughing at a warehouse party. Their friend said that four ‘crazed’ men and one woman ‘targeted’ the young women

Pearce is also believed to be an actor and a producer and has been photographed with stars at red carpet events over the years. 
*** Giles and Cabrales-Arzola were at SoHo on Friday, November 12, when they left for a warehouse party. Giles husband said he traced her phone to an apartment complex before the women were dropped off at their respective hospitals. But it wasn’t until 12 hours after Giles stopped responding to her texts, at around 5pm on Saturday the 13th, that CCTV at Southern California Hospital in Culver City showed men in masks and hats pulling up in a black Toyota Prius with no license plate and dumping Christy’s body – and another two hours before Hilda was left at nearby Kaiser Permanente hospital in West LA.
Arzola’s family said her toxicology report found heroin in her system. A toxicology report for Giles has not yet been released.  
Texts from the phone of Giles’s husband Jan Cilliers, show that whatever tragic fate befell the two victims, occurred within six unaccounted minutes around 5am on November 13.
Cilliers said CCTV from the party shows Giles and Arzola leaving with the men in the early hours. 
By 5:30am Giles’s phone location data placed her at Pearce’s upstairs duplex apartment on West Olympic Boulevard near Beverly Hills, when she texted Arzola ‘let’s go’ with a wide-eyed emoji, apparently showing discomfort. 
At 5:36am a friend called Eddie who was at the official after party the girls had planned to go to texted Christy ‘Where you at?’

Texts from Giles’ phone show the two women seemed uncomfortable after arriving at Pearce’s apt [photo] and called an Uber to take them home but were never picked up. Interviewed by police just hours after Giles died, the men ​​allegedly, admitted to cops that they took the girls home from the warehouse party, but insist the women took drugs and overdosed, and that they immediately took them to the ER

Read receipts show Christy never read the text, nor any others after that, and Uber records show the women never boarded the share ride vehicle.
Cilliers believes that in those six minutes, something happened to his wife and her friend that left them incapacitated. 
The men were interviewed by police just hours after Giles’ death and ​​allegedly admitted to cops that they took the girls home from the warehouse party, claimed the women took drugs and overdosed, and that they immediately took them to the ER.


Texts between the two women showed Christy sent a message to Hilda at 5:30am when they were at the apartment, reading: ‘let’s go.’ Hilda replied: ‘Yes. I’ll call an Uber’ – however, the two were never picked up
