<p>A man wanted for questioning in the apparent murder of his girlfriend has been described by feds as the &#8216;Master of disguise&#8217; with more than a dozen aliases.<br>The remains of female US Navy veteran linked to the fugitive was discovered in Tijuana, Mexico, in May. <br>Residents had reported a &#8216;foul odor,&#8217; coming from a Volkswagen Jetta that was parked on a street &#8211; 1400 block Calle del Cantil, Jardines Section, Playas de Tijuana.<br>When Tijuana police arrived they made the gruesome discovery of a rotting corpse inside a red and white cooler, stashed in the trunk of the sedan, later identified as the remains new mom, Racquel Sabean, 40, from San Diego. <br>David Sabean, the victim&#8217;s father, revealed that his daughter&#8217;s neck had been broken, according to the autopsy report, <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.cbs8.com/article/news/investigations/timeline-emerges-death-san-diego-mother-found-tijuana/509-1522335c-692e-4efc-9012-692393beefe7" target="_blank">CBS8</a> News reported. <br>Wanted for questioning, the victim&#8217;s boyfriend and father of their seven-month-old daughter, Tyler Adams, 50, who she knew as Paul Phillips, remains at large.</p>

<p>The authorities said that Adams is a wanted fugitive out of the state of Hawaii for Escape in the Second Degree. The warrant was issued in September 2020.<br>Adams was last seen June 16, 2022, entering the United States at the Yan Ysidro Port of Entry around 1:30pm on using the alias &#8216;Aaron Bain.&#8217;<br>Police say Adams has not been charged with any crime, but the FBI has confirmed they want to question him in connection with the murder.<br>Racquel&#8217;s father said he &#8216;would bet my life&#8217; that Adams is his daughter&#8217;s killer in an exclusive interview with the <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.the-sun.com/news/6693946/boyfriend-tyler-adams-raquel-sabean-dad/" target="_blank">US Sun.</a></p>

<p>The FBI who calls Adams &#8216;a master of disguise,&#8217; and &#8216;phony&#8217; is known to use multiple fake and stolen identities. He is reported to have used the following aliases at various times: Aaron Lee Bain, Aron Lee, Paul Wilson Phipps, Paul Wilson Phillips, David Smith, Dominic Braun, David Phillips, Kevin Schoolcraft, Kevin Kennedy, Michael Whittman, Lance Irwin, Brice Johnson, Matthew Kashani, Taylor Chase, Joshua Smith.<br>Adam who has brown hair and stands at 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing approximately 175 pounds, was last seen wearing a yellow short-sleeve button-up shirt, tan pants, black running shoes and has distinct swelling under his eyes. <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.the-sun.com/news/6693946/boyfriend-tyler-adams-raquel-sabean-dad/" target="_blank"></a><br>Racquel&#8217;s dad David Sabean described his first time meeting Adams was a &#8216;good first impression,&#8217; but then noticed concerning &#8216;red flags.&#8217;<br>He said his daughter confided in him that Adams was kind and polite to her while her dad was around but it was a different story when they were alone.</p>

<p>Another red flag David recalled when was when Adams claimed he was a &#8216;Mormon&#8217; but after questioning him on his faith and noticing a tattoo, he started to became suspicious. <br>&#8216;Eventually, I started thinking this guy&#8217;s a phony, right?,&#8217; he said, in part, the US Sun reported.<br>&#8216;We went to the beach, he took his shirt off. When he took his shirt off. I saw a tattoo on his left arm.&#8217; <br>&#8216;I know Mormon families. I&#8217;ve never seen any Mormon, real Mormons, … that have tattoos,&#8217; he said.</p>

<p>Racquel who had been with Adams for two years, knew him under the name Paul Phillips. <br>A day after being questioned by the authorities regarding his girlfriend&#8217;s death, Adams fled the country and crossed the border into the United States under a new alias, Aaron Bain. Adams is a career criminal whose priors includes a 2012 conviction and 14-year sentence in San Diego County to serve 14 years in prison for identity theft, making a false financial statement, forgery and buying/receiving a stolen vehicle.<br>He would be released from a California state prison to the San Diego County Probation Department for post release community supervision in late 2016.<br>Prior to meeting Racquel Sabean, Adams escaped from Oahu Community Correctional Center’s Laumaka Work Furlough Center program in Honolulu, Hawaii where he was serving time for felony theft charges filed back in 2009.<br>Sabean met Adams, who she knew as Paul Phillips (one of more than a dozen aliases used by Adams, <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.fbi.gov/contact-us/field-offices/sandiego/news/press-releases/san-diego-fbi-seeking-the-publics-assistance-in-locating-subject-wanted-for-questioning-in-the-disappearance-of-racquel-sabean-in-mexico" target="_blank">according to the FBI</a>, About a year and a half ago. <br>After the birth of their daughter Valentina in November 2021, the bloom was off and the couple started arguing, according to Sabean’s mother, Denise Hosking.<br>“My daughter told me sometime last year that she wasn&#8217;t getting along with Paul and didn&#8217;t want to stay with him,” said Hosking.<br>Racquel posted her last message on Facebook, was April 16, according to her father, who believes his daughter was murdered shortly thereafter. A day after the Facebook post Racquel&#8217;s white Volkswagen Jetta is seen crossing into Mexico.<br>“On April 17, they saw her car pass through Tijuana on the camera. They didn&#8217;t see who was driving but that was her mother&#8217;s car, which she never drove into Tijuana. Her mother told her not to. There was no insurance on the car for Mexico. And she said she would not,” David Sabean told CBS.<br>Autopsy report on Racquel Sabean after her remains was found by Tijuana police on May 31, showed that her neck had been broken. <br>Adams was questioned by authorities in Mexico regarding Sabean but was uncooperative. <br>On September 16, Tyler Adams reportedly, crossed back into the United States around 1:30 p.m. at the San Ysidro Port of Entry, using yet another fake name. This time, Aaron Bain.<br>David Sabean claimed Mexican police have access to the surveillance video, but wonders why Adams hasn&#8217;t been charged.</p>
