<p>A crazed cannibal who was caught making bizarre facial expressions as he appeared in a Las Vegas Justice Court on Wednesday, charged with murder and cannibalism after he allegedly, bashed a man to death and was caught eating the victim&#8217;s ear and eye.<br>Colin Czech was caught chewing the flesh from a man&#8217;s face after eating his ear and eyeball after bashing him to death in a Las Vegas 7-Eleven car park, police say.<br>Czech, 29, is charged with murder after police found him covered in blood and kneeling above the man&#8217;s mutilated head, just off the Las Vegas strip.<br>The suspect who said he is homeless allegedly, admitted that he &#8216;used his teeth to eat [the victim&#8217;s] eyeball and ear&#8217;, according to his arrest report.</p>

<p class="has-small-font-size"><strong>Las Vegas cannibal Colin Czech appeared in Court on Wednesday charged with bashing a man to death and eating his ear and eye</strong></p>



<p>Arraigned in a Las Vegas Justice Court on Wednesday, the cannibal, Colin Czech, his lawyer argued that his client was too insane to stand trial.<br>Witnesses called 911 at 4.44am on Sunday, April 28, after seeing Czech tackle a man, identified as Kenneth Brown in court documents, to the ground.<br>Police alleged that Czech murdered Brown by repeatedly bashing his head on the concrete, causing his death from severe head trauma.<br>He was &#8216;banging [Brown&#8217;s] head on the concrete, appeared paranoid, was screaming and yelling, and pacing in front of the business&#8217;, the police report states.</p>

<p>The murder reportedly, happened in the 7-Eleven parking lot located on Las Vegas Boulevard, steps from the famous Haunted Museum and Little White Chapel.<br>Another 911 call was placed at 5.33am saying the same man was &#8216;eating the face of the male on the ground&#8217; at a nearby bus stop. Police arrived four minutes later and were horrified to allegedly find Czech with blood and &#8216;biological matter&#8217; on his face, hands, mouth, and clothing.<br>Brown was unresponsive and bleeding from his head and was missing his left ear and left eye.<br>Czech police said was &#8216;kneeling on the ground&#8217; next to Brown&#8217;s head and when asked what happened, he &#8216;gave a blank stare&#8217; and didn&#8217;t say anything. <br>Officers transported Czech who was &#8216;going in and out of consciousness&#8217;, to hospital. Brown was pronounced dead on arrival.</p>

<p>Czech later told detectives he was homeless and hadn&#8217;t slept for five nights in a row because something was &#8216;possessing him.&#8217;<br>He also claimed Brown &#8216;attacked him&#8217; and he thought he was fighting a &#8216;shape-shifter&#8217; but was helped to victory by a &#8216;higher power.&#8217;<br>Voices in his head told him to kill a person called Drake, whom he didn&#8217;t know and thought it was Brown, he allegedly told police. Czech also said he was &#8216;tweaking.&#8217;</p>

<p>When asked what he used to attack Brown, he allegedly said &#8216;my teeth&#8217; and that he &#8216;he used his teeth to eat [Brown&#8217;s] eyeballs and ears&#8217;.<br>Chief deputy public defender David Westbrook told the court his client, Colin Czech, was insane: &#8216;I&#8217;ve spoken to him, and I&#8217;ve determined that he is incompetent,&#8217; he said.<br>&#8216;We will get to the bottom of all the factual allegations, that is a process. But before we get there we have to go into the competency proceedings.&#8217; <br>He was then granted a competency hearing which was scheduled for May 24.<br>Should the hearing determine Czech is too mentally incompetent to stand trial, he would be sent to a mental institution for treatment until that changed.<br>Czech was remanded in custody without bail and is behind bars at Clark County Detention Center.</p>
