The agents reportedly swooped in “without producing a warrant.”<br>Rounding up a total of eight people, including four women, all showed ID, and ICE agents took their fingerprints and gave them slips to appear in court next month. <br>Of the four men, one was an American citizen, who was released. Three of the men had no documentation were detained.</p>

<p>While President Donald Trump is sticking to his oft repeated trail campaign promise to carry out a mass deportation operation nationwide, Newark Mayor Ras Baraka slammed the operation as an “egregious act” and a violation of the Fourth Amendment. <br>Baraka said that one of those detained is a US military veteran who “suffered the indignity of having the legitimacy of his military documentation questioned.”</p>
