<p>The immigrant who set a group of peaceful pro-Israel protesters alight with a makeshift flamethrower told investigators his goal was to &#8216;kill all Zionists&#8217;, an FBI affidavit has revealed. <br>Mohamed Sabry Soliman, 45, shouted &#8216;Free Palestine&#8217; on Sunday in Boulder, as he hurled makeshift Molotov cocktails at the crowd in the &#8216;targeted terror attack&#8217; that left eight people injured, a federal criminal complaint states.<br>Accused of a &#8220;suspected act of terrorism&#8221; in Boulder, Colorado on Sunday, Soliman made his first court appearance on Monday. <br>According to the arrest affidavit the terror suspect confessed to the attack after being taken into custody Sunday, even admitting to law enforcement that he would &#8216;do it again&#8217;. <br>The father-of-five allegedly, also said he &#8216;wanted to kill all Zionist people&#8217; and &#8216;wished they were all dead&#8217;.<br>Soliman bragged that he &#8216;had been planning the attack for a year and was waiting until after his daughter graduated to conduct the attack,&#8217; according to the FBI. His daughter’s graduation ceremony happened a few days prior.</p>

<p>Footage of the scene shows the suspect holding what appeared to be a Molotov cocktail in each hand. According to the FBI, Mohamed Soliman had at least 14 Molotov cocktails with him at the time of his arrest.<br>He was was booked into the Boulder County jail, north of Denver, and has been charged with eight felonies, including first-degree murder. Additionally, he was also charged with a federal hate crime.<br>Despite the murder charges, Boulder police confirmed in a Monday morning update that &#8216;no victims have died&#8217;. <br>At least three victims are currently hospitalized and being treated for burns, with one said to be in critical condition.</p>

<p>Mohamed Sabry Soliman told investigators that he researched for a year before carrying out his terror attack, according to an affidavit released in support of a federal hate crime charged filed by the Justice Department on Monday.<br>Soliman who migrated from Egypt to the US lives in Colorado Springs with his wife and their five children, told investigators that his goal was to &#8216;kill all Zionists&#8217;, the FBI said, and that he intentionally targeted the pro-Israel group Run for Their Lives and knew that they would be assembled on Sunday afternoon.<br>&#8216;He stated that he had been planning the attack for a year and was waiting until after his daughter graduated to conduct the attack,&#8217; according to the affidavit.<br>He told investigators he left messages for his family on his iPhone 14, which his wife handed over to the Colorado Springs Police Department shortly after his arrest, according to a federal affidavit. Investigators also recovered a journal from his home in which he planned out the horrific attack.</p>

<p>Soliman constructed homemade Molotov cocktails after conducting online research and buying the components. He drove to Boulder with the devices in his car and stopped along the way for gas, the complaint says.<br>Law enforcement found more than a dozen unlit Molotov cocktails near where Soliman was arrested. The devices were made up of glass wine carafe bottles or jars with clear liquid and red rags hanging out of the them, the FBI said.<br>Inside his car, law enforcement found papers with the words &#8216;Israel,&#8217; &#8216;Palestine,&#8217; and &#8216;USAID,&#8217; the affidavit says.</p>

<p>Mohamed Soliman&#8217;s most recent job reportedly, was as an Uber driver. He started as a food courier in 2023, and he met all background check requirements, including a valid social security number.<br>At the point he transitioned to driving passengers &#8220;about nine months ago&#8221; according to the company, he passed another background check, which required a valid social security number, a clear criminal and driving history, and photo ID.<br>His previous employer, Veros Health, said when he was hired, Soliman had a work visa that expired in March 2025.<br>While there “had no concerning feedback while driving on the platform&#8221;, at Uber, the company has been terminated the relationship.</p>
