<p class="wp-block-paragraph">A fugitive accused in the September 2024, of killing a New York family-of-four, including two young children, has been captured in the Dominican Republic. <br>Luis Francisco Soriano, 31, also known as Jefry Yevo, was arrested in Punta Cana, a popular resort town, in the Latin American country, where he fled after allegedly murdering a family-of-four, including two children aged two and four years old, then after torching the victims&#8217; home.<br>&#8216;The horrific nature of this crime, which resulted in the tragic death of a family including two innocent children, rocked the very foundation of our society governed by law and order,&#8217; US Marshal for Puerto Rico, Wilmer Ocasio-Ibarra, said. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Soriano was wanted by police in Irondequoit, New York, a suburb in Rochester, on four counts of second-degree murder as well as narcotics charges. <br>Luis Francisco Soriano alongside his brother and co-conspirator, Julio Cesar Pimentel-Soriano, 34, have been accused of killing a couple Fraime Ubaldo, 30, Marangely Moreno-Santiago, 26, and their children Evangeline Ubaldo-Moreno, 4, and two-year-old Sebastian Ubaldo-Moreno. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Police say the children&#8217;s father, Fraime Ubaldo, was the cousin of the two brothers, according to a <a class="" href="https://www.whec.com/top-news/second-arrest-made-in-irondequoit-quadruple-homicide-suspect-taken-into-custody-by-u-s-marshals/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">WHEC </a>report. <br>Soriano was arrested after he finished his shift at the call center of a Punta Cana hotel on Wednesday.<br>US Marshals said Soriano fled to Puerto Rico following the killings before extending his flight from justice by boat, to the Dominican Republic. <br>In the early hours of August 31, 2024, the family&#8217;s charred remains were discovered in the basement of their burning home. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Investigators confirmed that <a class="" href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13808217/cops-family-murdered-upstate-new-york-home-irondequoit.html">the gruesome deaths, that left veteran police shaken,</a> were homicides after discovering stab wounds in the necks and chest of each victim.<br>Irondequoit&#8217;s police chief Scott Peters remarked that in 32 years on the job, he&#8217;d never seen anything so horrific. <br>He described the scene at a press conference as &#8216;the worst thing I&#8217;ve ever seen&#8217; and vowed to &#8216;bring these monsters to justice.&#8217; </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Julio Cesar Pimentel-Soriano, aka &#8216;Rafael Jose Vargas&#8217;, is an documented immigrant from the Dominican Republic was also wanted for another murder from 2019. He allegedly entered Puerto Rico illegally where he obtained a fake New York ID, according to the Irondequoit Police Department. <br>&#8216;With that identification, he was free to travel from Puerto Rico to the United States mainland,&#8217; officials said. <br>Pimentel-Soriano who allegedly used a “sharp object” to stab each victim in the neck and chest multiple times, was arrested on September 7, 2024. Indicted on murder, burglary, arson and kidnapping charges, he pled not guilty in court. </p>
