<p>A new recording exposes a Republican politician&#8217;s threat to eliminate his rival in the party primaries with Ukrainian and Russian hit squads. <br>Politico just <a href="https://www.politico.com/news/2021/06/17/secret-recording-florida-republican-threat-hit-squad-494976" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">reported</a> that it had obtained the audio of Florida Congressional candidate William Braddock saying that if it looked like rival Anna Paulina Luna was going to win the GOP primary for the 13th District Congressional seat, he would have her taken out of the picture. <br>&#8216;I really don&#8217;t want to have to end anybody&#8217;s life for the good of the people of the United States of America,&#8217; Braddock said in a conversation last week. &#8216;That will break my heart. But if it needs to be done, it needs to be done. Luna is a f**king speed bump in the road. She&#8217;s a dead squirrel you run over every day when you leave the neighborhood.&#8217; </p>

<p>Braddock who reveals that his &#8216;polling people&#8217; were going to charge him $20,000 to do a poll before the GOP primary says, &#8216;And if the poll says Luna&#8217;s gonna win, she&#8217;s gonna be gone. She&#8217;s gonna disappear,&#8217; he said in the recording. &#8216;For the good of our country, we have to sacrifice the few &#8230; For the better or the good of the majority of the people, we&#8217;ve got to sacrifice the few.&#8217; <br>According to a local newspaper<a href="https://www.tampabay.com/news/florida-politics/2021/06/14/anna-paulina-luna-says-potential-political-opponents-conspired-to-kill-her/#" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> report</a> Luna, who ran for the seat in 2020, losing to Democratic Rep. Charlie Crist, has filed a stalking injunction against Braddock. <br>&#8216;I received information yesterday (at midnight) regarding a plan (with a timeline) to murder me made by William Braddock in an effort to prevent me from winning the election for FL-13,&#8217; Luna wrote in the petition. </p>

<p>Luna in her petition also accused her 2020 primary rival Amanda Makki and Matt Tito, who was mulling joining the 2022 race, of being involved in a plot to &#8216;take her out.&#8217; <br>Another woman, a nurse turned conservative COVID-19 whistleblower, Erin Olszewski, also filed an injunction against Braddock. <br>Olszewski was the woman who gave Politico a recording of a phone conversation she had with Braddock where she said he made the threats. <br>During their alleged conversation, Braddock makes rambling statements about having access to assassins, explains that he would get help from fellow Freemasons to finance the plot and also import millions from Malta and Gibraltar. </p>

<p>&#8216;I have access to a hit squad too, Ukrainians and Russians,&#8217; he is heard saying, before warning Olszewski, &#8216;don&#8217;t get caught out in public supporting Luna &#8230; Luna&#8217;s gonna go down and I hope it&#8217;s by herself.&#8217; <br>Braddock who has refused to confirm that he made threats about Luna or brought up Ukrainian and Russian hit squads, told Politico, &#8216;it was allegedly me &#8230; there is no proof to that&#8217;. The recording &#8216;may even be altered and edited.&#8217; <br>&#8216;This is a dirty political tactic that has caused a lot of people a lot of stress and is completely unnecessary,&#8217; The politician said. <br>Olszewski denied manipulating the recording and said she recorded him because of his &#8216;unhinged&#8217; dislike for Luna &#8211; who had been backed in the last election cycle by embattled Rep. Matt Gaetz and former President Donald Trump. <br>Olszewski turned the June 9 recording over to St. Petersburg police and informed Luna about it, who then filed the stalking injunction against Braddock. <br>She had called him on a smart phone where his name and number are shown on-screen and then video-recorded the conversation using another phone. <br>Braddock had reached out to Olszewski, who penned the controversial COVID-19 book &#8216;Undercover Epicenter Nurse,&#8217; to try and get her to appear on a healthcare panel. <br>After several conversations she said she worried about his attitude toward Luna, which she told Politico was &#8216;threatening.&#8217; <br>On the recorded call Olszewski asked Braddock for details on the alleged plot. <br>&#8216;I call up my Russian and Ukrainian hit squad and within 24 hours, they&#8217;re sending me pictures of her disappearing,&#8217; he said. &#8216;No, I&#8217;m not joking. Like, this is beyond my control [at] this point.&#8217; <br>Olszewski asked Braddock if the killers were snipers and he responded that they were, &#8216;Russian mafia. Close-battle combat, Tech 9s, Mack 10s, silencers kind of thing. No snipers. Up close and personal. So they know that the target has gone.&#8217; <br>It&#8217;s a third-degree felony to record someone in Florida without their permission. Olszewski indicated to Politico that St. Petersburg police said she wouldn&#8217;t be in trouble. <br>In his text messages to Politico Braddock indicated he might sue Olszewski over making the recording. <br>&#8216;The folks in possession of whatever recording they think they have of myself or someone else (which may even be altered and edited) will be facing civil damages suit(s) when the paperwork is file [sic] with the county and felony charges after I file with the local police department,&#8217; Braddock wrote. <br>The other two GOP politicians mentioned in the report, Amanda Makki and Matt Tito, have criticized Luna for including their names in the injunction she filed against Braddock. </p>

<p>Erstwhile rival Amanda Makki, who lost to Luna in the 2020 GOP primary, said, &#8216;I mean I really think that she&#8217;s exhibiting behavior that I would say is concerning.&#8217; <br>She then told Politico, &#8216;The fact she dragged me through the mud, after not seeing or talking to me after 11 months, it really calls into question her judgment.&#8217; <br>Tito who admits he and Luna once got in a tiff during a radio show appearance together, is nonetheless was &#8216;shocked&#8217; by the allegations. He maintains that it was a &#8216;total political hit job.&#8217; <br>&#8216;But it&#8217;s kind of like this is what she does,&#8217; Tito said. &#8216;She can&#8217;t debate you on the policy issues. She plays the victim better than anybody I&#8217;ve ever seen.&#8217; <br>&#8216;Luna doesn&#8217;t want me to get in the Republican race because she knows I&#8217;ll beat her. I&#8217;m a better candidate. She&#8217;s trying to wipe me out of the race, trying to embarrass me, intimidate me, smear my name so she has a wider path to the nomination,&#8217; Tito said.</p>
