<p>Two probationary officers with the San Antonio Police Department have been fired after they were taken into SAPD custody in drunken incidents days apart.<br>Officer Cora Crocker was terminated Nov. 3, a day after her arrest on a misdemeanor family violence charge, while officer Giselle Lopez-Chavez was terminated Oct. 27, after she was taken to a city drunk tank following a disturbance at a downtown bar.<br>A Texas police officer has been fired <br>Probationary officer Cora Crocker was terminated from her role with the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) just one day after she allegedly struck her ex-boyfriend in the face in the parking lot of an indoor go-kart track.<br>Witnesses <a href="https://www.ksat.com/news/ksat-investigates/2025/11/24/sapd-probationary-officers-fired-after-drunken-incidents-days-apart/">claim </a>Crocker hit the alleged victim after another woman got inside his parked vehicle, according to the incident report.Crocker, who was allegedly &#8216;visibly intoxicated&#8217; at the time of the incident, and the other woman were both &#8216;former significant others&#8217; of the man.<br>Officer Crocker was arrested and charged with assault causing bodily injury-family. <br>Her arraignment is scheduled for December.</p>

<p>Cora Crocker reportedly, was the ninth SAPD officer to be arrested this year. <br>Her termination came days after fellow SAPD probationary officer Giselle Lopez-Chavez was ousted from the force over an alleged incident of public intoxication during a separate incident. <br>Lopez-Chavez was terminated from the SAPD on October 27, after an alleged disturbance at a bar in downtown San Antonio.<br>She and her boyfriend were detained and handcuffed in front of the bar. Lopez-Chavez, who had been photographed outside the bar flipping the bird, allegedly told officers &#8216;she was SAPD&#8217; as she was being detained.<br>prior to losing her job, the drunken police officer had been taken to the city&#8217;s sobering unit while her boyfriend was taken into custody on a warrant. Charges have not been lodged over the alleged incident of public intoxication. </p>
