On Tuesday, former elementary school teacher’s aide Anna Marie Crocker, 34, was sentenced to 51 and a half years in prison for sex crimes involving boys between the ages of 12 and 16.
Crocker pled guilty to charges of first-degree sexual assault, second-degree sexual assault, child exploitation and child enticement in December 2025.
The mom-of-four issued a groveling apology to her victims this week, begging the Kenosha County judge for a lighter sentence.
‘I take full responsibility for what has taken place. I am disturbed by the harm and distress, along with the trauma you’ve had to endure,’ she said in court.
‘I’m deeply sorry that this has caused pain and anger and that you have to live with this the rest of your lives.’

Crocker was a staff member at Riverview Elementary in Silver Lake, Wisconsin, for four years before a former student accused her of sexual assault. She was fired and arrested in October 2024, and charged with first-degree sexual assault – sexual intercourse with a child under the age of 13, possession of child pornography, and child sexual exploitation.

Crocker was a staff member at Riverview Elementary in Silver Lake for four years before a former student accused her of sexual assault, leading to her arrest.
The then 12-year-old’s parents told police they believed she had sexually assaulted their son at a sleepover Crocker hosted for her own child at her home. According to the criminal complaint, Crocker forced a 12-year-old boy to have sex with her. The boy told investigators, “he told her repeatedly to get off of him, but she would not listen.”
The accusations grew into a full blown investigation with multiple other victims coming forward.
The teacher’s aide was accused of filming child pornography videos, exposing her genitals to a child.
She allegedly sent a 14-year-old boy videos of herself masturbating with a vibrator and exchanged more than 200 messages with teen via Snapchat.

Cops said the disgraced educator abused four boys in total, one as young as 12. A victim’s father said Crocker was ‘clearly a predator, and had been doing this for a very long time, preying on very young boys who are her own child’s age,’ he said

A 13-year-old told police Crocker also sent him inappropriate messages, including sexually explicit videos of herself.
Crocker invited a 16-year-old she met on Snapchat to her home with the intention of having sex with him just one day before she was arrested.. She allegedly sent inappropriate pictures to this teen as well.
Authorities reported the disgraced educator abused four boys in total. She was fired by the Kenosha Schools Board on October 14, 2024.
At trial, one prosecutor said she ‘couldn’t help herself.’
‘She was juggling all of these boys at the same time,’ they said at the hearing.
Despite admitting to the heinous crimes, Crocker begged the shocked court for forgiveness.
‘I’m asking for mercy and compassion even though I understand the seriousness,’ she said at her sentencing.

The Kenosha County District Attorney’s Office released a statement on Facebook announcing her sentence.
‘Justice was served today for the four children this defendant groomed and sexually abused,’ said Deputy District Attorney Rosa Delgado.
‘This office has made clear that child predators will face severe consequences.
‘Her betrayal of trust, victim-blaming, and efforts to intimidate the victims only deepened the harm. That conduct was criminal and will not be tolerated in Kenosha County.’
One of the victim’s mothers took the stand to confront Crocker.
‘This person destroyed my son’s psyche and loving and caring spirit,’ the anonymous parent said.

Seeking leniency, Crocker, a mother-of-four, admitted to her actions and appealed to the judge for a lighter sentence

District Attorney Xavier Solis called her actions a ‘profound breach of trust.’
‘When an adult connected to our schools exploits our children, the harm is severe and lasting. This sentence sends a clear message to any school employee who preys on our children, in Kenosha County, you will be held accountable,’ he said.
The five decades sentence means Crocker will remain behind bars until she’s well into her 80s. She was ordered to register in the sex offenders list.
The family moved out of state in the aftermath of Crocker’s actions.
