<p>A domestic abuse victim suffered horrific injuries inflicted by her violent ex-partner after he repeatedly punched her &#8220;like he was in a boxing match&#8221; in front of her teen daughter. Nathaniel Dimond, 31, rained blows down on petite 36-year old Patsy Jacobs after accusing her of texting other men.<br />
The 6ft 3in man punched her so hard around the face that he broke her nose and her left eye socket as well as tearing the muscle from her face, leaving her permanently numb.</p>

<p>His despicable attack took place in front of her 15-year-old daughter, and when she tried to intervene he snarled and said she would get the same treatment, the court heard.<br />
Dimond was jailed for five-and-a-half years for the brutal battering, which left Ms Jacobs unrecognisable.<br />
The defiant mother-of-two has bravely released the photos of her injuries in a bid to raise awareness of domestic violence disclosure scheme &#8216;Clare&#8217;s Law&#8217;.<br />

Speaking out for the first time since the attack, Patsy, from Calne, Wilts, said: &#8220;He was stressed out so I sent him out to get some cigarettes and hoped that would calm him down when he came back.<br />
&#8220;He got back and had my phone and said there were messages from other guys on it and he shoved the phone in his pocket.<br />
&#8220;I couldn&#8217;t believe he punched me and he kept punching me like he was in a boxing match.<br />
&#8220;My daughter came into the room and said &#8216;what have you done to my mum&#8217;s face?&#8217; and he stopped then, started crying and said he was really sorry.<br />
&#8220;If she didn&#8217;t come in I think he would have carried on.<br />
&#8220;I didn&#8217;t have any recollection of time, I probably lost conciseness but I remember the paramedics came but I couldn&#8217;t place the voices.<br />
&#8220;I was embarrassed, I felt like I was causing them to be here and felt like I was being a pain.<br />
&#8220;It was after the attack I found about Clare&#8217;s Law, a police officer said &#8216;do you know about his history?&#8217;, I said no and she told me about Clare&#8217;s Law.<br />
The brave mum says she’s unable to return to her job as a waitress and barmaid for a month because she is suffering from blurred vision and panic attacks.</p>

<p>She added: &#8220;People knew that something happened but I wasn&#8217;t able to tell them what it was.<br />
&#8220;I used to be able to do my make-up in five minutes but now I feel like I have to cover it up again because I had surgery and had to have titanium put in.<br />
&#8220;I&#8217;ve had plenty of support, lots of his ex-partners got in touch and the whole Calne area grouped together to get vouchers and a small collection.<br />
The brutal attack in Ms Jacob&#8217;s own home took place at around 1am on January 26.<br />

Tessa Hingston, prosecuting, said he punched her sending her to the ground, and then as she tried to get up he punched her again to the face before kneeling astride her and raining numerous blows on her.<br />
During the assault, she shouted to her daughter to call the police, and when she came in, she threatened her saying &#8216;I&#8217;ll do the same to you&#8217;, the court heard.<br />
Miss Hingston said as the assault came to an end Dimond cuddled his victim and told her he loved her.<br />
Dimond, of Calne, Wiltshire, pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm with intent and common assault.<br />
Tony Bignall, defending, said client was going through a degree of &#8216;self-loathing&#8217; as a result of what he had done. But jailing him for five-and-a-half years last month, Judge Tim Mousley QC said: &#8220;Your attack on her was a sustained attack.<br />
&#8220;It took place in her home. Your actions were fuelled by drink you had taken. It was late at night and it was without provocation.<br />
&#8220;Having punched her so hard that she went to the ground you then knelt on her and punched her repeatedly.<br />
&#8220;When she tried to protect herself, even to the point on biting you on the arm, you carried on punching her again and again.”</p>
