JOHNNY Depp was given a restraining order amid domestic violence allegations yesterday — the day his movie Alice Through the Looking Glass came out with him as the Mad Hatter.
Actress wife Amber Heard arrived at court sporting a bruised eye, claiming the Hollywood icon had smashed his iPhone into her face.
Her allegation came just days after the couple called a shock end to their 15-month marriage. Amber, 30, turned up at the LA court with a stack of pictures and claimed she was struck by Johnny, 52, last Saturday night. Her filing included photographs of her injured face as well as photos from inside Amber and Johnny’s house showing what appears to be broken glass and a bottle on the floor.

In court filings, Amber Heard claims that Johnny Depp hit her with a cell phone, pulled her hair and screamed at her last Saturday night – and was abusive to her throughout their 15-month marriage.
In court documents obtained by PEOPLE, Heard, 30, who filed for divorce from Depp on Monday and was granted a temporary restraining order against Depp on Friday, chronicles two separate accounts in which she says Depp physically abused her – including the night cops were called and she
suffered a black eye.
“During the entirety of our relationship, Johnny has been verbally and physically abusive to me,” she claims in the documents.
Depp’s attorney filed a response that alleges that Heard is trying to expedite and force Depp to pay spousal support
“Amber is attempting to secure a premature financial resolution by alleging abuse,” said the attorney, according to court documents.
However, Depp has not yet directly responded to the abuse allegations. His attorney and rep have not responded to requests for comment.
On Saturday, May 21, Heard claims that she was having a conversation with two friends when Depp, 52, entered their downtown Los Angeles apartment. As the group of friends began to talk about the recent passing of Depp’s mom, the actor “began obsessing about something that was untrue” and became “extremely angry,” she states in the documents.
In attempt to help relieve the situation, Heard began calling a friend who Depp was requesting to speak to, she states.
“Johnny ripped the cell phone from my hand and began screaming profanities and insults at iO [the friend],” she said. “I heard iO yell at me to get out of the house. Johnny then grabbed the cellphone, wound up his arm like a baseball pitcher and threw the cellphone at me striking my cheek and eye with great force.” Heard submitted photos appearing to show a bruised eye as evidence.

The actress was granted the temporary restraining order against her estranged husband, who must stay 100 yards from her until a second hearing next month.
Amber, who left court in tears, was also given the right to live in their home but was refused possession of their Range Rover and a further request to force Johnny into anger management.
During the alleged weekend attack, the actress claimed Johnny shattered various objects in their apartment. She said she was on the phone to a friend during the fight, and that, when Johnny grabbed her handset, she yelled to her pal “Call the cops

The friend dialled 911 and police came to the pair’s home. Amber says Johnny had left, so they took a statement from her.
Her claims follow reports that Johnny tried to save his marriage by offering Amber money to stay quiet after the bust-up.

Pals of the Pirates of the Caribbean actor branded Amber “immature” in The Sun yesterday and said he had initiated the split after a blazing row.
Last night a Hollywood source said: “Amber is furious with how the divorce is being portrayed. She’s taken the nuclear option.”

Johnny, whose mum Betty died two days before the announcement of his marriage split, is in Europe promoting his movie — but has hired top divorce lawyer Laura Wasser to represent him. He did not attend court yesterday as Amber turned up with her lawyer Samantha Spector.
He was pictured in Portugal the same day, where he and his Hollywood Vampires bandmates Alice Cooper and Joe Perry participated in a charity outreach project for a hearing foundation.

Meanwhile Johnny’s spokesman dismissed the claims as “lies”.
He said: “Given the brevity of this marriage and the most recent and tragic loss of his mother, Johnny will not respond to any of the salacious false stories, gossip, misinformation and lies about his personal life.
“Hopefully the dissolution of this short marriage will be resolved quickly.”

The Sun told previously how Johnny, worth £270million, was involved for months in a series of rows with Amber. He had decided to quit drinking in favour of smoking cannabis, a habit his wife resented.
The couple met while playing lovers in The Rum Diary, while Johnny was still with Vanessa Paradis, the mum of his kids Lily-Rose, 16, and John Christopher (Jack), 14.
Alice Through The Looking Glass, produced by film giants Disney, has already been branded a flop by critics despite its £116million budget. The Sun’s Jamie East gave it three stars, saying it “fell flat”.
Johnny attended the flick’s Los Angeles premiere on Monday, by which point Amber had already filed for divorce.

Her allegations cast doubts over the release of his upcoming movie Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, which is currently in post-production and due out next year. His most recent blockbuster Black Mass bombed at the box office.
Johnny was arrested and charged for trashing a New York hotel in 1994 after reports of a drunken row with then-girlfriend Kate Moss. The charges were dropped when the heart-throb agreed to pay £7,000 in damages and fees.
He had another outburst in 1999, brawling with paparazzi outside a London restaurant.
In April this year, he and Amber apologised to an Australian court for smuggling their pet dogs Down Under.
