<p>Michelle Suzanne Hadley is accused of sending emails threatening her ex-lover&#8217;s wife and unborn child, as well as, posing as the mother in response to craigslist ads, expressing the desire to have violent rape fantasies fulfilled and to have attacks continue even if she resists.<br />
The 29-year-old California woman is accused of posing as her ex-boyfriend&#8217;s pregnant wife to post &#8220;rape fantasy&#8221; advertisements on Facebook.<br />
Hadley, of Ontario, is facing several charges, including attempted forcible rape and stalking.<br />
Prosecutors say she sent harassing emails to the victim, threatening the lives of the woman and her unborn child. She was arrested in June and then continued to post the &#8220;rape fantasy&#8221; ads on Craigslist after being released on bail, leading to a second arrest in July.<br />
Hadley allegedly continuing to solicit fantasy rapists even after being released from custody by posting $100,000 bail.<br />
Indeed, at a court hearing Monday, prosecutors got Hadley&#8217;s bail increased to $1 million heading into arraignment this morning in Fullerton, where court proceedings begin that could result in her being locked up for the rest of her life. Between 2013 and 2015, Hadley had a romantic relationship with a U.S. Marshals Service agent, but they broke up, he met his future wife and the couple were expecting a child.</p>

<p>Hadley, acting every inch the spurned lover, allegedly sent the wife numerous emails, between June 6 and July 13, including threats against the woman&#8217;s life and that of her unborn child as well as disparaging comments about her husband.<br />
Initially, law enforcement had a difficult time tracking these emails because Hadley routed the messages through different computers and servers to avoid detection.<br />
She was later charged with &#8221; violating the protective order and stalking the wife.&#8221;<br />
The rape fantasy negotiations via craigslist ads started in June, when Hadley is accused of pretending to be the wife, replying to men as her and sending them photos of the victim with details of her daily routine.<br />
&#8220;Hadley is alleged to have told the responders that the victim wanted them to have forcible sexual intercourse with her, even if she screamed or resisted,&#8221; according to the arraignment statement. &#8220;Several of the men showed up at woman&#8217;s residence with the intention of raping the victim but did not succeed. One man arrived at the pregnant woman&#8217;s residence and physically attacked the victim before she was able to call for help and the man fled the scene.&#8221;</p>

<p>That incident led to an Anaheim Police Department investigation leading to Hadley&#8217;s June 24 arrest and jailing in lieu of $100,000 bail. But she bailed out and, &#8220;While out of custody, the defendant is accused of repeatedly sending Jane Doe threatening emails and resuming responses to &#8216;rape fantasy&#8217; advertisements pretending to be the victim. Hadley is accused of using increasingly violent language and threatening the victim&#8217;s life.&#8221;<br />
Hadley was arrested a second time on Thursday, and she has been charged with a felony count of stalking with a restraining order, one felony count of stalking, one felony count of criminal threats, six felony counts of attempted forcible rape, one felony count of assault with the intent to commit a sexual offense during the commission of first degree burglary, and one misdemeanor count of violation of a protective order with a sentencing enhancement allegation for crime-bail-crime.<br />
A conviction could send Hadley to state prison for life.</p>
