<p>The prime suspect in the shooting death of a McDonald&#8217;s customer who failed to hold the door for a woman was taken into custody. The suspect however, escaped after being left alone in an interview room, authorities said.<br />
25-year-old Alonso Perez, was brought in for questioning Friday in the Aug. 27 murder of Mohammed Robinson, 31. Robinson was gunned down in a McDonald&#8217;s parking lot, allegedly after he failed to hold the door open for a female patron at the fast food restaurant. The woman was exiting as Robinson was entering the front door.<br />
Authorities placed Perez in an interview room at the North Las Vegas Police Department&#8217;s Detective Bureau. When they checked on him, he was gone.</p>

<p class="mol-para-with-font"><span id="ext-gen123">Perez was arrested around 10am on Friday, and taken to the department&#8217;s detective bureau where he was questioned for several hours.<br />
</span>When a detective left the room at around 12.45pm, Perez twisted the handcuffs until they broke, according to police spokesperson Aaron Patty.<br />
&#8220;After the detective stepped out of the room, Perez turned the handcuffs until he broke free and escaped the building,&#8221; police said in a statement.<br />
Perez drove off in a white 2016 Ford F-250 pickup, police said.<br />
While the truck was recovered Saturday, Perez remains on the loose.</p>

<p>The victim&#8217;s mother, Katra Nestor, was concerned by Perez&#8217;s escape.<br />
&#8220;He is running scared. Someone else might get hurt. Someone else might get killed,&#8221; Nestor told local FOX station, KVVU-TV.</p>

<p>According to the official police report, Perez is 6&#8217;3&#8243; tall and weighs 200 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes and a goatee. He is considered armed and dangerous<br />
He also has an &#8220;Air Jordan&#8221; tattoo on the left side of his neck.</p>
