<p>Martens, 35, told investigators that one of the men was a co-worker. Two others she met online, including 31-year-old Gonzales, who eventually killed the little girl, dismembered her body and tried to set her remains alight in their apartment bathroom.<br />
Martens, Gonzales, and his cousin, Jessica Kelley all face charges in connection with Victoria Martens’ death.<br />

<p>Police found Victoria&#8217;s dismembered remains last month inside the apartment she shared with her mother. According to the warrants, Martens told investigators she didn’t set up her paedophile ring for the money. The depraved mother told officers she set up the sexual assaults on her daughter because she enjoyed watching. She also confirmed the little girl was drugged , according to Martens the group orally fed Victoria methamphetamines.</p>

<p>Investigators sought DNA evidence from the suspects, as well as multiple electronic devices and a camcorder they believed may have been used for sexual exploitation of children.<br />
Martens told police she used the dating website Plenty of Fish to look for men to have sex with Victoria, and possibly, her younger siblings.<br />

It’s unclear how long she’d been arranging meetings before Victoria was killed or if police have identified any of those men. Albuquerque Police Department said their investigators are working with federal agencies to determine whether Martens will face federal charges for alleged online activity.</p>

<p>Investigators are still trying to establish the timeline of events leading up to Victoria&#8217;s death. What is known so far, isthat multiple eyewitnesses saw and heard portions of the event is that around 10 p.m. the night of Aug. 23, as the boyfriend&#8217;s cousin, Jessica Kelley, was observed carrying Victoria in her arms down the stairs from an apartment. It has not been established if the girl was alive or dead, at the time. She was overheard asking Martens “Are you ready?”<br />
Around 3 a.m. the next morning, the same witnesses heard screaming coming from the apartment.</p>
