<p>A teen has claimed that she is nine months pregnant and is carrying baby Jesus, but even her own church doesn&#8217;t believe her.<br />
Haley, 19, who sports a real rounded stomach, has undergone several pregnancy tests and a pelvic exam, which have all come back negative.<br />
But the teen is adamant that she is about to give birth, as she told the Dr Phil show: “I am pregnant, and it is Jesus.”</p>

<p>Hayley&#8217;s mother Kristi describes her daughter as a “compulsive liar” and is “delusional”, listing some of her alleged previous tales including that her baby&#8217;s father is Eminem and also that she had donated a kidney to her older brother.<br />
Kris believes that Haley is lying about her pregnancy too.<br />
“The first time I heard her say that, she actually was saying it was Jesus Christ in her stomach. I looked at her like she had lost her mind,” Kristi said.<br />
“She was just going off into a delusional tailspin.”</p>

<p>But Haley claimed that she is about to give birth to a baby boy and disregards what the pregnancy test results.<br />
“My family, my friends, my pastors at church, they don’t believe that I’m pregnant,” Haley said.<br />
“I know it’s Jesus. I don’t care if my family disowns me. It really comes down to if you’re a true believer in Jesus or not … I don’t care what the home pregnancy test or a doctor says, when I give birth to my baby, no one is going to deny him because he’s my saviour.”<br />

<p>“I was sleeping one night and my baby punched the bottom of my stomach and kicked me, and I can feel his head right here, right below my belly button,” she said.<br />
On the show, Haley revealed that she had been diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia.<br />
Her mother begged for help with her daughter, as Kristi said: “I can’t keep living like this. We have to treat her like she’s actually pregnant to avoid conflict. I’m hoping Dr. Phil can let me know if this is part of her act or does she really need help.”<br />
Haley is set to have an ultrasound in a second part of the show, where the results will be revealed.</p>
<h3><em><strong>Second time around</strong></em></h3>
<p>This appears to be part of a growing trend. Back in February, a 15-year old girl from Cincinnati, Ohio claimed to be carrying the child of Jesus Christ, after being “divinely impregnated” during an encounter with an angel.</p>

<p>“He told me that he was a Nephilim, like those described in the Bible,” she said. “He told that he had a message from Jesus, He said that I was going to be pregnant, and that I would give birth to a son, Jesus’ son,” Latifah Smith-Nabengana said.<br />
Theologians say Nephilims are indeed mythical creatures mentioned in the Genesis 6:4 : “The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men, and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.”<br />
Because these creature had been almost unheard of over the last few thousand years, Smith-Nabengana&#8217;s claim surprised everyone in her family. Deeply religious themselves, they accepted her claim and rallied around the teen.<br />
Even the gynecologist monitoring her pregnancy, Dr. William Franklin Murphy, said he was aware of his patient’s version, citing however, ethical reasons why he unable to either confirm or invalidate her claims.<br />
“For all I know, her pregnancy seems normal,” claims the<span class="hps"> gynecologist. “Her claims of “Virgin pregnancy” are technically true, but that doesn’t mean there was a divine intervention. I can tell you that it’s a boy, but there no way for me to determine if it is Jesus’ son until he is born. If she asks for a DNA test at that time, then we can tell you who the father is.” </span></p>

<p>The teenager’s claim at the time stirred quite a controversy reaching far beyond her religious community. While most people showed their support to expectant teen, others launched various accusations on the social media, ranging from fabricating the whole story to sleeping with a demonic creature known as an incubus.<br />
Latifah Smith-Nabengana said she was going to demand a paternity test as soon as her son is born, to prove that she is telling the truth. There are no updates on her story as of now.</p>
