<article id="ra-body">Justin Dale Boyer, 40, was allegedly stabbed to death in Las Vegas by his 46-year-old brother, Robert Boyer, <a href="http://news3lv.com/news/local/friends-say-cowboys-vs-packers-game-was-the-cause-of-the-brother-on-brother-deadly-fight" target="_blank">news3lv.com reports</a>.<br />
Residents reported that a bleeding man was screaming outside their doors about 11:30 p.m. Sunday, police said. Officers located Justin Boyer in front of the house suffering from a stab wound.<br />
Before the incident, Justin Dale Boyer, a resident of St. John, North Dakota, was staying in Las Vegas withe his brother Robert and a roommate. The brothers were allegedly yelling over the playoff game and a roommate tried to intervene. However, Justin Boyer seemingly kept at it when his team, the Cowboys, lost and eventually he physically attacked his sibling.<br />
Metropolitan Police said that Robert Boyer feared for his life and stabbed his brother.<br />
A neighbor, Robert Lewis, reportedly found Justin with stab wounds at his front door.</p>

<p>“I’m passionate. I’m an Eagles fan and I’m passionate about my Eagles but to get to that level over a ballgame is just crazy. Unreal, unbelievable,” Lewis said, according to <a href="http://news3lv.com/news/local/friends-say-cowboys-vs-packers-game-was-the-cause-of-the-brother-on-brother-deadly-fight" target="_blank">News3</a>.<br />
Both men were injured in the fight. The stab victim was taken to Spring Valley Hospital and then to University Medical Center (UMC), where he died. Justin Boyer died of a sharp force injury, according to the coroner. The death was ruled a homicide.<br />
The surviving brother, Robert Boyer was also treated at UMC.<br />
However, detectives who interviewed the surviving sibling said he may have acted in self-defense. Police have further noted that Justin Boyer may have suffered from a mental illness.</p>
