<p class="mol-para-with-font">The<a href="http://www.courier-journal.com/story/news/crime/2017/01/31/local-woman-sentenced-incest-child-sex-abuse/97298162/"> </a><a class="" href="http://www.courier-journal.com/story/news/crime/2017/01/31/local-woman-sentenced-incest-child-sex-abuse/97298162/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Louisville Courier-Journal</a><a href="http://www.courier-journal.com/story/news/crime/2017/01/31/local-woman-sentenced-incest-child-sex-abuse/97298162/"> </a>reports that the Louisville resident, Kelly Ann South was handed her sentence on Tuesday after accepting a plea deal. Jefferson Circuit County Judge Olu Stevens also ordered the defendant to register as a sex offender for the rest of her life.<br />
40-year-old South was arrested in October 2015 on five counts of first-degree sexual abuse, two counts of sodomy and one count of incest after an investigation by the Louisville Metro Police Department&#8217;s Crimes Against Children&#8217;s Unit.<br />
According to an arrest watrrant cited by the station <a class="" href="http://www.wave3.com/story/30349661/woman-arrested-for-sexual-abuse-on-child" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">WAVE3</a>, the mother, then 38 years old, admitted to performing oral sex on the boy and engaging in other inappropriate activities with the child between September 2012 and September 2015.</p>
