<p>Christina Mackinday, aka Christy Mack, testify on Thursday that her ex-boyfriend,former MMA fighter War Machine, beat her and raped her throughout the course of an off-and-on relationship. The former porn star told the court she still loved War Machine for a long time, despite the abuse.<br />
Eventually she said she came to her senses and realized she didn&#8217;t love him anymore:<br />
&#8220;Once I became involved with the domestic violence community, they really helped me understand what was happening to me was not a healthy relationship,&#8221; Mack said crying.<br />
Christy Mack also admitted in court that she sent War Machine a topless photo of herself the day he attacked her and her new boyfriend, Corey Thomas.<br />
According to <a href="http://www.fox5vegas.com/story/34713881/war-machine-trial-day-4-christy-mack-endures-full-day-of-testimony">Fox 5 Vegas</a>, during cross-examination Defense Attorney Jay Leiderman quizzed Mack about the racy photo and suggestive text messages.<br />
Insinuating that Mack may have been playing off the two men against themselves, the defense attorney, Leiderman, told the jury that on the day of the August 2014 attack Mack sent War Machine, a nude photo telling him her body was all his.<br />
&#8220;For my sexy Mr. Machine,&#8221; the message read, with the racy photo attached.<br />

<p>Adam Herbets, a reporter for Fox 5 Vegas, tweeted that Mack didn’t back down from the question at hand.<br />

<p>Some time after Mack sent the nude photo, Koppenhaver went to her home and found her in bed with Thomas.<br />
He first beat up Thomas, and then repeatedly attacked Mack for two hours.</p>

<p>The <a href="http://www.fox5vegas.com/story/34713881/war-machine-trial-day-4-christy-mack-endures-full-day-of-testimony">FOX 5 report</a> states that Leiderman read a few more sexual text messages Mack and Koppenhaver sent each other, and as the explicit messages were read aloud the former MMA fighter and the prosecution team started to laugh.<br />
The defense also revealed that the day after the alleged beating, Mack and War Machine exchanged &#8220;I love you&#8221; messages.<br />
The victim also said she asked War Machine to marry her before the incident involving Thomas.<br />
Leiberman said the messages are important in framing the lead up to the events of the day, although he was silent on how they are supposed to explain the extent of victim&#8217;s injuries stemming from that night.</p>

<p>The <a href="http://www.reviewjournal.com/crime/courts/ex-girlfriend-says-she-testified-against-war-machine-help-other-women-video">Las Vegas Review Journal</a> reports that in an effort to boost awareness about domestic violence,the former adult film actress took to social media soon after she was brutally beaten by her ex-boyfriend:&#8221;I decided to testify and really stand up for this so I could help so many other women,&#8221; she told jurors, dabbing tears from her eyes.<br />
<a href="https://www.giveforward.com/fundraiser/qcd5/christy-mack-s-medical-expense-fund" target="_blank">She raised upward of $100,000</a> on the crowdfunding site GiveBack.com after the August 2014 attack she said she endured from now jailed and banished fighter War Machine, also known as Jonathan Koppenhaver. Mack said she donated all the money to charity.</p>
