<p class="mol-para-with-font">A 31-year-old man has been charged for sexually assaulting a woman and forcing her into the trunk of a car, which he drove nearly 20 miles before crashing into a tree.<br />
Jarqueese O&#8217;Brian Henigan robbed a 24-year-old woman and sexually assaulted her in Chicago, Illinois on March 9, police said.<br />
Henigan has been charged with several felonies, including kidnapping, vehicular hijacking, and aggravated criminal assault.</p>

The woman handed over her belongings before Henigan sexually assaulted her, police said.<br />
He then forced her into the trunk of her Mazda and drove off, stopping at several ATMs and tried to withdraw cash with the victim&#8217;s card. Henigan eventually crashed the car into a tree in the 11500 block of South Throop Street, about 23 miles south of the garage, police said.</p>

<p class="mol-para-with-font">Henigan fled and the woman managed to escape from the trunk before she was taken to a local hospital with bleeding to the brain, abrasions and bruises to her forehead and thigh.<br />
Investigators recovered a 9-millimeter Ruger handgun with a round in the chamber at the scene of the crash, police said.<br />
Cops later determined Henigan had tried to use the victim&#8217;s credit cards at two locations near his home. Video surveillance recorded a person at both locations, and police facial recognition software came up with Henigan as a possible suspect. The victim later identified Henigan in a photo array.<br />
When police analyzed the victim&#8217;s phone, they found the suspect&#8217;s address in the Google Maps application, and it matched the address Henigan used when he was released from prison in October 2016.<br />
Police at the time also said the description of the attacker was similar to the description of another carjacking turned to sexual assault in Chicago on Feb. 28. In that incident, the attacker <a href="http://abc7chicago.com/news/sex-assault-reported-in-lakeview/1778251/"> sexually assaulted a 25-year-old woman in her car in the 1200-block of West Barry</a>.<br />
In that incident, the offender approached a woman who was walking to her car, forced her into her car at gunpoint, and sexually assaulted her. The offender fled on foot, police said.<br />
Police arrested Jarqueese O&#8217;Brian Henigan on Friday, about a week after the attack. He was arraigned on Sunday, and charged with aggravated criminal sexual assault, kidnapping, vehicular hijacking, possession of a controlled substance, armed robbery and being an armed &#8216;habitual criminal.&#8217;<br />
In court Sunday, a Cook County judge denied bail for Henigan.<br />
After his arres, Friday, officers also recovered two baggies of marijuana and one baggie of suspected crack cocaine that Henigan tried to throw away during his attempt to flee, police said.<br />
Police said the suspect has a lengthy list of priors, most recent being a 2013 conviction for unlawful use of a weapon by a felon in Lake County. He also faces extradition to Kansas, where he is wanted on rape and robbery charges.<br />
His defense attorney said Henigan is married with two children, is enrolled at Kaplan University for business management and works as a chef, adding that his client has &#8220;mental health issues.&#8221;</p>
