Stroller thief, Michelle Ashley Craig was filmed wheeling her own daughter out of Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida, in another family’s stroller on April 15 

A Spring Hill mother was caught on surveillance cameras using her young daughter to steal another family’s stroller from Disneyworld, Monday.
Michelle Ashley Craig was filmed wheeling her daughter, who was dressed as Frozen’s Anna, out of Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando, Florida, on April 15.
The $1,800 Bugaboo stroller belonged to fellow mother Lauren Collazo who’d left her wallet, car keys and her niece’s Epipen in its storage compartments when Craig took it.
Craig then sold the stroller to another mother in Texas via a Facebook page.
After local ABC Action News obtained a Disney surveillance picture, showing the alleged thief using her young daughter in the ‘swipe’ to slip away in Collazo’s stroller.
After the theft went viral on social media, a Texas woman who bought the stolen stroller online from Craig contacted Collazo.
Orange County detectives issued an arrest warrant for Michelle Craig, of Spring Hill.

Craig turned herself into the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office Wednesday. She faces a charge of Grand Theft.
According to an ABC Action News investigation, it was not the first stroller she stole from the amusement park.
the suspect was also flagged trying to sell designer handbags on local Facebook swap ‘n’ shop groups. It is not clear whether those goods were stolen.
Collazo said she was left stranded without cash or ID because of it: ” It was the fact that she took it away from me the day that I needed it the most and ruined everybody’s day at Disney.”

‘I was there with no money, stranded. My husband had to fly over from Miami that same day, catch the first flight available to rescue me and my family,’ she said.

The woman in Texas who Craig had sold it to got in touch with Collazo online after reading about the theft in a viral Facebook thread.
She was able to identify it as her stroller from accessories that its first owner placed on it and that were still there when it was delivered to her.
It’s not clear whether she gave it back or how much she paid Craig for it.
Craig handed herself in to police in Spring Hill, Florida, where she is a resident.
Hernano County Sheriff’s Office said she would like face grand theft charges.

Orange County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that they are actively investigating Craig for other recent luxury stroller thefts at Disney, adding that the theft of luxury strollers was not an infrequent crime at Disney’s parks Studios where the April 15 theft occurred.
