<p class="article__content article__content--intro">A long burning social media rivalry between two Venezuelan models boiled over into real life when a vicious fight broke out between them after they bumped into each other.<br />
Former beauty queen Osmariel Villalobos, 28, now a morning chat show host, says she will have to take two weeks off work because of the trauma she received.<br />
She described how she went to a class at her gym in Venezuela when her rival Diosa Canales walked into the changing room and attacked her.<br />
For the past two years the two women have been social media enemies after Osmariel criticised Diosa for constantly posting revealing photos.</p>

<p>Osmarier says as Diosa came out of the bathroom she said: “Tomorrow (during a TV show) I will destroy you.<br />
“I did not listen to her, I did not even look at her… and it only made her angry.<br />
“She grabbed me, I pushed her and she threw herself at me with all her strength, with all her rage, with all her hatred.<br />
“I have never seen a person with such anger in their face, in their heart.<br />
“I feel that if there had been a knife… she would have killed me there, in the bathroom, without hesitation.”<br />
The ex-beauty queen later shared photos on social media or her injuries and wearing her neck-brace while holding her daughter.<br />
But Diosa offered a different version of what happened.<br />
She said: “I know it’s difficult to think that it was not me [who was violent]”, Canales showing off her injuries], as I have been, but that was a past in my life.”</p>

<p>According to Canales, her on-air nemesis “got out of control” just because she told her she would be speaking some home-truths on TV about the ex-beauty queen.<br />
She said: “I told her I would be revealing some truths about her on the show ‘Saturday night,’ and that she knows what I’m going to say, then she got angry and comes over to me.”<br />
But Diosa did publicly apologise to Osmariel Villalobos, even though “she attacked me”.<br />
Diosa is no stranger to the spotlight and shot to international fame when she appeared naked in front of 30,000 viewers on a live webcam.</p>
