<p class="mol-para-with-font">The woman who was killed aboard an Alaskan cruise ship after a domestic dispute has been identified as 39-year-old Utah woman Kristy Manzanares.<br />
Manzanares, was killed aboard an Alaskan cruise ship &#8216;Emerald Princess on Tuesday. Passengers on board the ship said Manzanares was found dead after they heard her arguing with two other men on a balcony. They saw a man trying to jump off the ship after the incident, but he was taken into custody.<br />
Federal authorities planned to press charges on Thursday against the male suspect in the case. According to her social media profiles, Manzanares is a married mother of three and a realtor in Utah.<br />
Princess Cruises said in a statement that Manzanares died Tuesday night on the Emerald Princess, which was carrying 3,400 passengers and 1,100 crew members on a weeklong cruise of the Alaskan panhandle that left Sunday from Seattle, Washington.<br />
Manzanares who was celebrating an anniversary, was travelling with a large group, including her children<br />
Passengers said the cruise ship was hosting a &#8216;murder mystery&#8217; theme dinner on the night of the tragic incident, unsurprisingly some thought it was a hoax and were initially confused at what was going on, <a class="" href="http://www.cbsnews.com/news/alaska-cruise-death-domestic-dispute-princess-cruises-passengers/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">CBS News</a> reported.</p>

<p>Passengers on board the ship say they head the woman scream after arguing with two men on a balcony. A man tried to jump off the ship after the incident.<br />
Nicole and Brice Beckstrom used to be Manzanares&#8217; neighbors, They told <a class="" href="http://www.cbsnews.com/news/alaska-cruise-death-domestic-dispute-princess-cruises-passengers/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">CBS News </a>the couple involved was traveling with a large group that included their children.<br />
&#8220;Whoever was talking was pretty scared because their voice was shaking,&#8221; she said. &#8220;They said it was a domestic altercation.&#8221; said Ruby Plata, describing the announcement over the intercom.<br />
Other passengers told <a class="" href="http://fox13now.com/2017/07/26/passenger-recounts-chaotic-moments-after-utah-woman-killed-in-domestic-dispute-aboard-cruise-ship/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Fox 13</a> that they heard two men and a woman fighting on their balcony Tuesday night, and then a woman screaming for her life.<br />
&#8216;People were running through the hall with blood all over them and trying to get security,&#8217; passenger Megan Morr said.<br />
Passengers say they didn&#8217;t know the 39-year-old Utah woman was dead in a room. All they saw was a man trying to jump off the ship.<br />
“They were on deck 7 and he tried to run up to deck 9 to jump off the ship, but security grabbed him before he could jump,” Morr said.<br />
An announcement came the next morning, letting the thousands of passengers on board know there was an unexpected change to their cruise itinerary.<br />
“Unfortunately we won&#8217;t be going because last night a 39-year-old Utah woman was killed by her husband the FBI will be joining the ship within the hour,” Morr said.</p>

Others said they thought the incident happened at a &#8216;murder mystery&#8217; theme dinner.<br />
At first, many at the party thought the whole thing was fake.<br />
Charles Rowlen and his wife said they were two decks above at the time.<br />
He told the station: Well, it was evening for us &#8230; definitely (heard a) woman screaming.<br />
&#8216;A little girl from that room came running out calling for help &#8230; that her parents had been in a fight. She sounded pretty desperate.&#8217;<br />
Others said they then saw a man trying to jump off the ship after the altercation.<br />
&#8216;They were on deck 7 and he tried to run up to deck 9 to jump off the ship, but security grabbed him before he could jump,&#8217; Morr said.<br />
Another passenger told <a class="" href="http://abcnews.go.com/US/fbi-investigating-death-woman-aboard-princess-cruise-ship/story?id=48865630" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">ABC News</a> that she saw the victim&#8217;s young daughter after the incident, and the girl was hysterical.</p>

<p class="mol-para-with-font">Few other details about the case were released as investigators went about their work. Passengers were kept aboard the ship for much of the day Wednesday, prompting some grumbling.<br />
&#8216;You feel sorry for the family but a lot of people had to wait,&#8217; said Lloyd Barrows, a passenger from Alberta, Canada.<br />
The Emerald Princess was diverted to Juneau because of the investigation. The ship arrived in Juneau early Wednesday, and passengers were kept on board for more than eight hours before they were allowed to disembark around 8:30pm.</p>
