White pulled the gun from his pants and shot Dominique in the cheek, he later claimed he didn’t mean to shoot, just scare her
Arraigned on attempted murder and assault charges Friday, White is held on $300,000 bail

A 72-year-old man shot his much-younger wife in the face, leaving her in critical condition, because she had complained he no longer satisfied her financially or sexually, police said Friday.
Clarence White was arraigned Friday, accused of blasting his 28-year-old spouse Dominique White inside their home on Glebe Ave. in Parkchester about 8:40 a.m. a day earlier.
“I shot my wife,” Clarke, still holding a .22-caliber pistol, told responding cops, according to court documents.
Medics rushed his wife to Jacobi Medical Center where she was in critical but stable condition Friday.
The couple have been married for three years and have a daughter.
White told police he and his wife were arguing in the hours leading up to the shooting. The couple have suffered money woes since he recently lost his job, sources said.
The decades separated romance exploded Thursday morning when 72-year-old Clarence shot his young wife in the face, leaving her in critical condition.
A neighbor walking his dog saw the couple arguing outside their home on Glebe Ave. in Parkchester about 40 minutes before the shooting.
“It was a normal argument” said the stunned neighbor, who declined to give his name. “He went inside and she followed him.”

As he talked to her in the hopes of reconciling, she told him he didn’t do anything for her sexually or financially anymore.
That’s when he pulled the gun from his pants and and shot her in the cheek, sources said. White claimed he didn’t mean to shoot her just scare her.
A Bronx Criminal Court judge ordered White held on $300,000 bail when he was arraigned on attempted murder and assault charges Friday.
