An Oregon woman was charged with driving under the influence after her own son called 9-1-1 on her because he believed she was driving drunk while he was inside the car with her, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office Twitter page.
Nicole Norris, 30, allegedly was driving drunk from a Hillsboro Hops game with her son Saturday night. Police received a call from an 11-year-old boy shortly after 9 p.m, Saturday. The boy told dispatchers he thought his mother, Nicole Norris, was driving the car under the influence.
Other callers also called to report a drunk driver before Washington County sheriff’s deputies stopped Norris while she was on her way home from a Hillsboro Hops baseball game, the Class A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks, The Oregonian reports.

Norris was taken into custody after she failed a sobriety test. Her blood alcohol content was nearly twice the legal limit, according to The Oregonian.
The child who called police is now staying with relatives.
