According to the affidavit, Travis Frink waived his Miranda rights and told cops that he made the four-hour trip just so he could murder her. He allegedly admitted to shooting her several times with a pistol.
Travis Frink [left], shot his mother Pamela Ferriere [right], in cold blood on Tuesday while she was recuperating from a brain aneurysm

Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center,in Lebanon, NH while her husband, Robert Ferriere, was forced to watch in horror, according to an affidavit released by the Attorney General’s Office.
Frink, described as a Marine veteran who suffers from PTSD, allegedly asked his step-dad if he could have some time alone with his mom, to which he hesitatingly obliged.
“Robert Ferriere exited the room, and as he turned out of the room he heard Pamela Ferriere shout or scream something,” the affidavit says.
“[Robert] turned and looked into the room and saw Frink pointing a gun at Pam and fire several shots. Frink did not say a word. Frink put the gun in a bag he had been holding and walked by [Robert] without saying a word. [Robert] then called for help.”

Ferriere had been in the ICU for several weeks after suffering an aneurysm, prosecutors say. She was due to be discharged from the hospital on Friday.
A nurse attending the victim called 911, saying a visitor had pulled out a black handgun. When she saw the gun, the nurse ran and took shelter in a different room. She then heard two gunshots, followed by screams.
According to the affidavit, Frink waived his Miranda rights and told cops that he made the four-hour trip just so he could murder her. He allegedly admitted to shooting her several times with a pistol.
“I ran right in there and he still had the gun in his hand,” Robert Ferriere told WCVB on Wednesday. “He could have blown me away, but he didn’t. He just calmly walked by me.”
Ferriere told reporters that he initially refused to let his stepson see his wife because he [Frink] was acting rather weird. He relented after his wife insisted things would be okay.
“I never thought I would see a murder in front of me, but yesterday I did,” Robert said.”It’s painful,” Ferriere lamented.
Records show that this is not the first time Frink’s name has cropped up in connection with deadly family incidents. Four years ago his ex-wife, Kathleen Frink, and their 3-year-old son were both found dead inside a running car that reportedly reeked of alcohol and vomit.
Warwick police at the time dropped the investigation because ‘there didn’t appear to be any foul play or trauma to the victims,’ police said.
Frink, a veteran of the Marine Corps is listed as an [IT] systems administrator.
Prosecutors did not state the motive behind the shooting.
