<div>Police said the deaths of mother and daughter found dead in McLean, Va., in July may be the victims of a double murder, not a murder-suicide.Fairfax County police are looking into the possibility that this was a double murder.<br />
On the night of July 14, police found two bodies inside 6708 Dean Drive.<br />
Pamela Hargan, 63, who worked at Lockheed Martin for decades and who was working with SAIC at the time, was found dead in her laundry room at her McLean, Virginia home.<br />
Helen, 23, the youngest of Harman&#8217;s three daughters was also found dead in an upstairs bedroom. Both women were shot to death.</p>

<p>WUSA<a href="http://www.wusa9.com/news/local/mclean-mother-daughter-murder-suicide-may-be-a-double-murder/492161323"> 9 reported</a> Wednesday that Fairfax County police initially suspected that Helen Hargan had shot her mother, and then turned the gun on herself.<br />
A newly unsealed search warrant stated the investigation has “revealed that the scene may have been altered and staged.”<br />
The warrant said there were attempted “fraudulent” wire transfers from the mother’s accounts, including the day after her death. The warrant stated that the transfers “were attempted by Megan Hargan who is another daughter of Pamela Hargan.”<br />
Police have not named a suspect in the case but said it is still a “very active” investigation.</p>
