<p>Two bodies found in rural Alabama over the weekend might belong to an Atlanta rapper and his promoter cousin — nearly two weeks after they were reported missing.<br />
Authorities found a body believed to be Edward Reeves, known as rapper Bambino Gold, in a wooded area in Macon County on Friday, Macon County Sheriff Andre Brunson told <a href="http://www.al.com/news/birmingham/index.ssf/2017/11/2_bodies_found_in_rural_macon.html">Al.com</a>.<br />
A second body, believed to be 30-year-old Kendrick Stokes, was found about 3 or 4 miles away from the first body on Saturday, Brunson said<br />
“It looks like somebody placed them there,” the sheriff told the site. “I don&#8217;t think they were killed there.”<br />
Edward Reeves, also known as Bambino Gold, and Kendrick Stokes, also known as Skooly Kee Da Tooly, were formally reported missing in Montgomery on Tuesday, Nov. 7. They were last seen in Montgomery on Sunday, Nov. 5 driving a 2016 Honda CRV with a Georgia license plate, <a href="http://www.fox5atlanta.com/news/body-of-missing-atlanta-rapper-found-in-alabama">WAGA-TV</a> reported.</p>

<p>They were reported missing two days later. The men were cousins by marriage and longtime friends.<br />
Stokes was in Montgomery, Ala., to promote a party at a local club on Nov. 4, and Reeves traveled there the next day, cops said.<br />
The two of them left Stokes’ home to go to the Alabama National Fair on Nov. 5 and no one heard from them again.<br />
“They just vanished into thin air,” Felicia Stokes Webster, Stokes’ mother, previously told <a href="http://www.al.com/news/birmingham/index.ssf/2017/11/they_just_vanished_atlanta_rap.html">Al.com</a>. “It&#8217;s very devastating.”<br />
Macon County Sheriff Andre Brunson said the men were obviously victims of homicide.<br />
They bodies were found about three to four miles apart: &#8220;They were not far off of the road at all,&#8221; sheriff Brunson said.<br />

sources close to the case said Stokes and Reeves, cousins and longtime friends. both originally from Montgomery came to town, Nov. 4 and 5 respectively, to promote a party at Sky Bar on Debby Drive.<br />
Shortly after 9 pm Sunday the men left Stokes&#8217; house to attend the Alabama National Fair. Witnesses say after a couple of hours, they left to head back to Atlanta but Reeves said he had to make one stop at a friend&#8217;s house.<br />
That friend says talked briefly, and then Reeves and Stokes left. The intended host said the men were supposed to return and when they didn&#8217;t, he began to try to reach Reeves by cell phone. By 1 a.m., Reeves&#8217; phone was going straight to voicemail, the friend said. The following morning, family and friend also tried to call both men but, again, they only got voicemail.<br />
In the view of Stokes&#8217; mother &#8220;Between 11:30 p.m. and 1 a.m., something happened between that time,&#8221; Felicia Webster said.<br />
&#8220;What happened, we don&#8217;t know.&#8221;<br />
Investigators have not released a cause of death or a motive for the shootings.</p>
