<div>A Florida woman who killed her 72-year-old husband and then went to great lengths to hide his body in a closet in their home, authorities have charged with murder.</div>

<p>Okaloosa deputies said the bound remains of Alfred Wozniak, 72, in a secret hideaway at the family home in Shalimar, in the Florida Panhandle Wednesday, he had been shot in the left temple.<br />
His wife Barbara Wozniak, 65, was charged Friday with murder.<br />
The Okaloosa sheriff’s office said. “After removing the bricks and drywall, a large dark plastic type of tarp was observed [by deputies], shaped in the consistency of an adult body. The material had been thoroughly duct-taped.”<br />
Wozniak was accused of duct-taping her husband’s wrists, ankles and midsection before covering it with the tarp.<br />
Barbara Wozniak, was served the murder warrant late Friday night at the Okaloosa County jail, where she was already being held on a charge of tampering with evidence.<br />
Deputies said she told her two adult children what she did and they called 911 Wednesday, <a href="http://www.fox10tv.com/story/36877352/florida-woman-charged-with-murder-husbands-duct-taped-body-behind-brick-wall">Fox 10 Mobile reported</a>.<br />
Wozniak allegedly told her adult children she had shot her husband, 72-year-old Alfred Wozniak, in self-defense after he tried to choke her on Nov. 10.<br />
Her version of events were contradicted by the findings of the investigations.<br />
Police said the trajectory of the bullet contradicted Wozniak’ explanation of what happened to her children.<br />
Autopsy determined Alfred Wozniak had been shot in the left temple, from the back. Investigators found Alfred Wozniak&#8217;s arms were duct taped at the wrists and placed across his midsection and his feet were taped together at the ankles.<br />
investigation also revealed that on Nov. 10 her debit card was used to purchase nearly $130 in supplies from a Fort Walton Beach business, including a large tarp, plastic sheet, 20 pounds of repair mortar, Clorox, tape and other supplies, according to the Sheriff&#8217;s Office. She was also caught on surveillance at the check-out counter.<br />
A charge of second-degree murder was then added to the tampering with evidence charge filed against her earlier.</p>
