<p class="mol-para-with-font">49-year-old Marcia was accused of murdering her husband of 23 years, after which she continued living in the home they shared with his dismembered body parts stored in the residence, for the last five months, police have said.<br />
Marcia Y. Eubank was arrested on suspicion of murder Saturday in Coventry Township, Ohio, after police discovered the remains of her husband, 54-year-old Howard L. Eubank.<br />
On Saturday afternoon, cops in the community of 11,000 on the southern outskirts of Akron received a call reporting possible human remains at the Eubanks&#8217; home.<br />
Investigators from the Summit County Sheriff&#8217;s Office responded and made a gruesome discovery.<br />
Police found a tote bag in the back yard of the home containing the dismembered remains of Howard Eubanks. She appeared in court for the first time Monday for her bail hearing, via satellite link. Bond was set at $1 million.<br />
A judge also ordered the suspect to undergo a mental evaluation.</p>

<p class="mol-para-with-font">Investigators believe Marcia Eubank shot her husband, Howard Eubank, multiple times on June 13. She then dismembered his body with several saws and lived with the remains in her home.<br />
Summit County Sheriff Steve Barry said several items were collected as evidence, including hand and power tools believed to be used to dismember her husband&#8217;s body.<br />
Barry confirmed that multiple containers were removed from the couple&#8217;s Linda Street home Saturday. On Sunday, law enforcement sources confirmed that decomposing body parts were found inside belonging to a man.<br />
The Summit County Medical Examiner has tentatively identified the remains as Howard Eubank.<br />
Sheriff Barry said the couple&#8217;s son discovered what appeared to be human remains in a container found in an office space that was &#8220;exclusive&#8221; to Marcia . Two additional containers were found in the basement.<br />
Barry said a series of texts were exchanged between Marcia Eubank and her son just before a 911 call was made by the couple&#8217;s son, including one in which &#8220;She communicated back that [he] should call police,&#8221; Barry said.<br />
Marcia Eubank was taken into custody in the parking lot of a local Walmart on Arlington on Saturday evening.<br />
According to a report from the sheriff&#8217;s office, she admitted to killing her husband in June.<br />
&#8216;It’s sick. I’ve known these people for over 20 years,&#8217; neighbor Jackie Kaylor told local media, the <a class="" href="https://www.ohio.com/akron/news/local/remains-found-in-coventry-twp-yard-human-official-confirms" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Beacon-Journal</a>.<br />
&#8216;It’s absolutely devastating. I just can’t believe this is all real,&#8217; Kaylor said.<br />
Marcia was not home at the time of the search, but cops located her in the parking lot of a local business and took her into custody without incident.<br />
She was then interviewed by sheriff’s detectives and subsequently charged with one count of murder and booked into the Summit County Jail.<br />
According to a <a href="http://www.wkyc.com/article/news/local/summit-county/1-million-bond-set-for-woman-accused-of-killing-dismembering-husband-video/95-498547814">wkyc </a>report, Howard Eubank worked at an Akron water supply company for more than a decade. His co-workers said they received a &#8220;bizarre&#8221; text from Howard&#8217;s phone claiming he was moving to Texas June 18. Authorities said it appears the texts were sent by the suspect from her husband&#8217;s phone.<br />
No motive has been released. Barry did note that Marcia and Howard Eubank had some &#8220;strife&#8221; in the marriage over the years. At one point, Howard had moved out of the home but later returned.<br />
Sheriff Steve Barry said Marcia Eubank had “almost an expression of relief” when he located her in the Walmart parking lot.</p>
