Haynes was shot in the abdomen&comma; according to Chief Minerd&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;At some point as the hearing was concluding&comma; there was an altercation that ensued involving the deputy and some of the family members&comma;&&num;8217&semi; Minerd said&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;He added later the boy also was involved&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;The deputy was knocked to the ground and fired a shot&comma; he said&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;The Joey Haynes was rushed to Grant Medical Center where he was pronounced dead&period; Geraldine Haynes&comma; said the altercation started when the deputy and the Joey&&num;8217&semi;s mother got into an argument as the family was leaving toward the end of the hearing&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;The teen&&num;8217&semi;s mother was ordered out of the courtroom and the deputy didn&&num;8217&semi;t give the mother enough time to gather her belongings&comma; Haynes was labeled a juvenile delinquent and had been placed on probation&period; In addition&comma; Haynes had been forced to wear an electric monitoring bracelet&period; That punishment stemmed from an incident where Haynes was found &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;with a concealed weapon&period;”<br &sol;>&NewLine;On another occasion in 2016&comma;
