In the ad, a narrator says Wall&#8217;s father taught her how to shoot a gun in her youth. The 30-second ad, which was first reported on by <a class="" href="https://www.click2houston.com/news/local-candidates-campaign-ad-draws-criticism" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">KPRC</a>, begins with Wall holding a rifle in her well-manicured hands, with a male narrator going through the steps of firing a gun: &#8216;ready, aim, breath in, breath out, gently squeeze trigger and fire.&#8217;<br />
The GOP candidate takes a shot and flinches from the recoil in slow motion, after which the narrator chimes in again, accompanied by a strumming guitar: &#8216;that is how Kathaleen Wall&#8217;s daddy taught her to shoot growing up on her Texas farm. It&#8217;s a part of Kathaleen&#8217;s life.&#8217;</p>

Another user berated wall for the poor timing of her new ad: &#8216;it it was &#8216;completely inappropriate today or any day.&#8217;<br />
A third person criticized the ad as &#8216;insensitive&#8217; and wondered, &#8216;What was she thinking?&#8217;<br />
Wall&#8217;s Facebook page also was quickly inundated with strongly worded comments concerning the controversial TV spot.</div>
