<div>A racist berating two man for holding a conversation in Spanish on May 15, was later identified as a midtown Manhattan lawyer who publicizes his own fluency in that language on his company&#8217;s website.</div>

<p class="mol-para-with-font">Aaron M. Schlossberg lambasted the manager of Fresh Kitchen on Madison Avenue, in Manhattan for allowing his staff to speak Spanish in &#8216;my country&#8217; and raged about &#8216;paying for their welfare&#8217; in a video filmed on Tuesday.<br />
Although the 42-year-old attorney, a registered Republican who has donated to Donald Trump, owns his own commercial law firm, boasts of being fluent in Spanish in his own work biography, he was still heard raging at the restaurant employee&#8217;s boss: &#8216;Your staff are speaking Spanish to customers when they should be speaking English &#8211; this is America,&#8217; he ranted at the Fresh Kitchen manager.</p>

<p class="mol-para-with-font">In the background other customers can be heard calling him &#8216;ignorant&#8217; and saying &#8216;yes, this is America&#8217;.<br />
&#8216;I will be following up because my guess is there not documented and my next call will be to ICE,&#8217; Schlossberg says.<br />
&#8216;I will get each of them will be kicked out of my country.<br />
&#8216;I pay for their welfare, I pay for their ability to be here. The least they can do is speak English.&#8217;<br />

The lawyer began his rant after seeing a lunchtime regular speaking Spanish with a Hispanic employee, the manager later explained.<br />
&#8216;They were speaking Spanish because they are friends,&#8217; he said. &#8216;He got mad, waiting in line for his food.<br />
&#8216;He&#8217;s a customer, so I had to stay professional and ask him to leave. That&#8217;s what I did.&#8217;<br />
NYU legal ethics professor Stephen Gillers said lawyers like Schlossberg can be disbarred<br />
for conduct outside work, but predicted he would only receive a &#8216;private admonition&#8217;. &#8216;Mr. Schlossberg could be disciplined for this conduct but it will not lead to disbarment,&#8217; Gillers told <a class="class" href="https://forward.com/fast-forward/401320/pro-trump-jewish-lawyer-caught-ranting-spanish-new-york-deli/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Forward</a>.<br />
&#8216;A lawyer can be disciplined for conduct even if the conduct is unrelated to work for a client.<br />
&#8216;Factors a disciplinary committee will consider in deciding what if any discipline is warranted include extenuating circumstances and whether Mr. Schlossberg has prior discipline.<br />
&#8216;If he does not, I think the most serious discipline he could face would be a private admonition if he has a clean record. That means the discipline will not become public.&#8217; Schlossberg attended the George Washington University Law School, according to his<br />
LinkedIn, which noted he studied abroad in Madrid while at college.<br />
As well as fluent Spanish, Schlossberg claims to be able to speak French, Hebrew and Mandarin Chinese.</p>

His law office gave a $500 donation to Donald Trump on April 5, 2016, according to <a class="class" href="https://www.opensecrets.org/donor-lookup/results?name=aaron+schlossberg" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">OpenSecrets.org</a>.<br />

Schlossberg&#8217;s LinkedIn also lists him as having graduated from George Washington Law School in 2002 and clerking for New Jersey Superior Court Judge John Peterson.<br />
By 2003, he was working s an associate attorney at The Law Offices of Michael Haskel in Mineola, New York, before moving to Ohrenstein &; Brown two years later.<br />
He then moved to Havkins Rosenfield Ritzert &; Varriale and served as an associate from 2005 to 2013 before setting up his own practice a year later.</p>

Schlossberg is being trolled relentlessly on his website and social media pages by people who have seen the viral video.</p>
