<div class="clear">Authorities have identified three bodies found at the Massachusetts home of a kidnapping suspect Stewart Weldon.<br />
Hampden District Attorney Anthony Gulluni said Monday all three were women, and two had been reported missing.<br />
He identified them as 47-year-old Ernestine Ryans and 34-year-old America Lyden, both of Springfield, and 27-year-old Layla Escalante of Ludlow.<br />
He said the medical examiner has yet to determine the cause of the deaths but called them “suspicious.”<br />

<p>The three women who were found dead at alleged serial killer Stewart Weldon&#8217;s home in Massachusetts last week have been identified as local missing women.<br />
Lyden was reported missing in December last year but had not been heard from by her family since last June. It is not clear how long Ryans had been missing. Escalante was the youngest victim at 27, she had been missing since December.<br />
Authorities have not yet revealed how or when they died but they say it is &#8216;unlike anything they have ever seen before.</p>

40-year-old Weldon who had quite a few run ins with the law over the years and was arrested near Forest Park in Springfield, Massachusetts. He was <span class="class"> arrested after leading police on a chase after they tried to pull him over for a routine traffic stop because of a broken tail light. </span></p>

<p class="mol-para-with-font">Cops had stopped Weldon for reckless driving but the police report reveals he was also arrested for assault with a dangerous weapon, resisting arrest and assault and battery of a police officer during the violent confrontation.<br />
At the end of the chase, a 25-year-old woman in the passenger seat told police he had been keeping her as a sex slave, for the past month.<br />
She is taken to hospital with &#8216;grotesque&#8217; injuries and he is charged with sexual assault and kidnap.</p>

<p class="mol-para-with-font">Weldon appeared in court a couple of days later and pled not guilty to battery and sexual assault charges.<br />
However, the next day police were back searching his home after being alerted by his mother who told them there was a foul smell.<br />
They find the first two bodies. The third body was found on the second day of the search. Police also a child who is alive.<br />
On <span class="mol-style-bold">Monday June 4, Stewart</span> Weldon was charged with a second count of kidnap after a yet to be named fifth victim emerged.</p>

A fourth woman was found in the car Weldon tried to flee police in. She has not been named and is in hospital with grotesque&#8217; injuries including stab wounds and rape injuries<br />
After the suspect&#8217;s mother who is listed on records as the property owner complained to authorities. police used ground penetrating radars as part of the search in a grim hunt for more bodies.</p>

The baby is believed to be the child who was found but police are yet to confirm details of their identity.</p>

<p>Weeping hysterically, the woman in Weldon’s car, later identified as a woman with whom the alleged kidnapper shared two children, told police he beat her with a hammer and told her he was going to kill her. She was “crying uncontrollably” when Weldon, who was armed with two knives, was taken into custody, according to court records.<br />
“Thank you guys for saving my life,” the woman hysterically told police. “I didn’t think I was ever going to get away.” Weldon has a long history of violent crimes stretching back more than a decade.<br />
In September 2006, he was jailed in Maywood County for a year for attempted theft and burglary. He was out of jail for just over a month before he was jailed again in October for a burglary and probation violation in 2008.<br />
Shocked neighbors, meanwhile, told the Globe that Weldon was an antisocial member of the neighborhood who moved in about two years ago.<br />
“If they had never stopped him for the taillight, then no one would have known,” Brenda Quinones, 23, told the newspaper. “It’s just too creepy. People would still be walking by his house, and who knows if he would have gone after more women.”<br />
Another neighbor said he spotted Weldon searching his front yard in a panic on Sunday as it rained outside.<br />
“It was odd,” Stefan Davis told the Boston Globe. “He had his front door and windows wide open. And he was searching through the dirt like a madman.”</p>
