Police say when they arrived outside the Walmart store in Tallassee. around 10:15 this morning, they found two cars that had hit each other near the garden center. Officers found 65-year-old Harold Miller lying in the parking lot dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.<br />
Officers then found the bodies of 58-year-old Tresea Miller and 75-year-old Barbara Buttles inside one of the cars. Police say both of the women were victims of multiple gunshot wounds.<br />
Police say their preliminary investigation shows there was a history of domestic incidents between the family members and are considering the case to be a murder-suicide.<br />
Tallapoosa county court records show Tresea Miller filed a protection from abuse order against her husband, Harold, on Monday.<br />
The order says the couple has been married for 43 years, but says they have a pending divorce. She also claimed in the order that Harold threatened to kill their son, verbally abused her and threatened to set her house on fire.<br />
The incident happened on Tuesday afternoon at a Walmart in Tallassee.<br />
Before opening fire, the gunman rammed his vehicle into it. He killed himself after shooting both women in what police are calling a domestic incident.</p>

<p class="mol-para-with-font">Local station, <a class="class" href="http://www.wsfa.com/story/38458064/3-dead-after-shooting-in-tallassee-al-walmart-parking-lot" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">WSFA</a> reports that Miller first rammed his car into the women&#8217;s vehicle then got out with a weapon.<br />
He fired into their car then turned the gun on himself.<br />
One of the women was dead on arrival and the other was in a critical condition but died before an air ambulance could get to her.<br />
Police Chief Matt Higgins says cameras in the Walmart parking lot will be reviewed leading up to the shooting.<br />
“We have numerous witnesses but we can’t release any information during the investigation. We’ll question all the witnesses,” says Higgins.<br />
As police are continued to work at the scene, they covered the shot-out passenger windows of the women&#8217;s white SUV with a pink sheet to hide them from view.</p>
