Two women are shot dead in their car in an Alabama Walmart parking lot by gunman – Harold Miller, 65, rammed his vehicle into theirs then got out, killed them and then himself in double murder-suicide
Cops arrived outside the Walmart store in Tallassee, Ala around 10:15 Tuesday morning, and found two cars that had hit each other near the garden center
Officers found Harold Miller lying in the parking lot dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound
Miller, 65, rammed his vehicle into theirs then got out of his vehicle and shot them through the window of their vehicle
Officers then found the bodies of Tresea Miller, 58, and 75-year-old Barbara Buttles inside the other vehicle, a white SUV
Police say both of the women had multiple gunshot wound
Miller then committed suicide before police arrived at the scene
The incident happened at a Walmart in Tallassee, a small town near Montgomery
Police believe it was a domestic incident – Tresea Miller filed a protection from abuse order against her husband, Harold, on Monday
The couple has been married for 43 years, but have a pending divorce
Tresea claimed in the court order that Harold threatened to kill their son, verbally abused her and threatened to set her house on fire

Two women have been shot dead in their car in an Alabama Walmart parking lot by a gunman who rammed his vehicle into theirs then got out, opened fire and eventually killed himself.
Police say when they arrived outside the Walmart store in Tallassee. around 10:15 this morning, they found two cars that had hit each other near the garden center. Officers found 65-year-old Harold Miller lying in the parking lot dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Officers then found the bodies of 58-year-old Tresea Miller and 75-year-old Barbara Buttles inside one of the cars. Police say both of the women were victims of multiple gunshot wounds.
Police say their preliminary investigation shows there was a history of domestic incidents between the family members and are considering the case to be a murder-suicide.
Tallapoosa county court records show Tresea Miller filed a protection from abuse order against her husband, Harold, on Monday.
The order says the couple has been married for 43 years, but says they have a pending divorce. She also claimed in the order that Harold threatened to kill their son, verbally abused her and threatened to set her house on fire.
The incident happened on Tuesday afternoon at a Walmart in Tallassee.
Before opening fire, the gunman rammed his vehicle into it. He killed himself after shooting both women in what police are calling a domestic incident.
Police used a large pink sheet to cover the car before removing the women’s bodies from the white SUV. The vehicle was driven byTresea Miller who filed a protection from abuse order against her husband, Harold, on Monday
Local station, WSFA reports that Miller first rammed his car into the women’s vehicle then got out with a weapon.
He fired into their car then turned the gun on himself.
One of the women was dead on arrival and the other was in a critical condition but died before an air ambulance could get to her.
Police Chief Matt Higgins says cameras in the Walmart parking lot will be reviewed leading up to the shooting.
“We have numerous witnesses but we can’t release any information during the investigation. We’ll question all the witnesses,” says Higgins.
As police are continued to work at the scene, they covered the shot-out passenger windows of the women’s white SUV with a pink sheet to hide them from view.
