<p>The suspects fired shots &#8216;indiscriminately&#8217; into the crowd.<br />
New Orleans police superintendent Michael Harrison told reporters late Saturday night: &#8216;We believe they actually stood over one of the individuals and fired multiple rounds.<br />
&#8216;This has to be personal. Firing indiscriminately into a crowd? Shooting 10 people? Killing three? That&#8217;s personal, it doesn&#8217;t get more personal and we take it personal, whoever did this, you should know that the law enforcement takes it personal and we&#8217;re coming for you,&#8217; Harrison added.<br />
New Orleans police said one suspect was armed with rifle and the other had a handgun.<br />
The suspects then fled the scene on foot northbound on South Claiborne Avenue toward Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard.<br />
Two of the victims were men and one was a woman. Two victims died on the scene and were found in the strip mall parking lot. The third victim was found dead a few blocks away on Louisiana Avenue, according to the station.<br />
The Orleans Parish Coroner&#8217;s Office will determine official cause of death and release the victims&#8217; names, upon completion of autopsy and notification of family.</p>

<p class="mol-para-with-font">The injured victims were rushed to the hospital, where one victim remains in critical condition. The seven victims have only been identified as five males and two females.<br />
Authorities said the other six victims were listed in various conditions, but none were believed to be &#8216;life-threatening&#8217;.<br />
Photos of the scene showed devastated family members and friends hugging as they cried in each other&#8217;s arms.<br />

<p class="mol-para-with-font">Mayor LaToya Cantrell said in a statement: &#8216;There is no place in New Orleans for this kind of violence. I speak for everyone in our City when I say we are disgusted, we are infuriated, &; we have had more than enough.<br />
&#8216;Three more lives &#8211; gone. It has to end. It&#8217;s unacceptable anywhere.&#8217;<br />
No suspect is in custody. Investigators are currently in the process of gathering evidence and information to identify the individuals responsible in this incident, as well as a motive.<br />
It&#8217;s unclear if the attack was &#8216;gang-related&#8217;.<br />
