Desperate club-goers stampeded towards the exit of Sevilla Nightclub in Riverside, California, when shots were heard, witnesses said.<br />
Fights broke out in the street as people ran for their lives, witnesses told KTLA.<br />
One man said people were dancing in the club when he heard gunshots go off.</p>

&#8216;I ran behind the bar and all of a sudden there was a whole bunch of people crunched up by the exit.&#8217;<br />
He added: &#8216;I was just praying, like, God get me through this.&#8217;<br />
And a woman who was promoting the event at the club took to Twitter moments after the shooting.<br />
&#8216;There was a shooting at Sevilla&#8217;s in DTR just a few minutes ago,&#8217; she wrote.<br />
&#8216;My friends were promoting the event tonight. This is sooo nerve wrecking. I&#8217;m praying all is good.&#8217;</p>

<div>Riverside police said they received a call at 12.04am on Monday reporting a shooting taking place inside and outside the club.</div>

Officers arrived at the venue, which also houses a tapas restaurant, on Mission Inn Avenue where they located two people suffering from gunshot wounds.<br />
They were both transported to a local hospital for treatment.</div>

Police say none of the victims&#8217; wounds are life-threatening.<br />
Riverside Police said they have launched an attempted murder investigation.<br />
The investigation is being handled by the department&#8217;s robbery-homicide and gang intelligence units.</div>
