Top female athlete Rachael Ostovich has broken her silence after her husband, boxer Arnold Berdon, was arrested for attempted murder in connection with her brutal beating in Hawaii on Sunday.
The 27-year-old UFC fighter took to Instagram on Wednesday morning to tell her 368K followers, ‘Spent time praying for people instead of talking about them.’ In the background were trees covered in fog. And the athlete added three prayer emojis.
The beauty was beaten so badly had her orbital bone – a socket of the skull in which the eye and its appendages are situated – was broken, as well as other injuries, and she had to stay in the hospital overnight.

Rachael Ostovich has broken her silence after her husband, boxer Arnold Berdon, was arrested for attempted murder in connection with her brutal beating in Hawaii on Sunday.
Ostovich was in Honolulu when her husband allegedly assaulted her during an argument at their home. Sources said she’s believed to have suffered a broken orbital bone.
Police in Honolulu after opening a domestic violence investigation earlier this week, said 27-year-old Arnold Berdon, her husband and father of her child, was arrested Tuesday evening on suspicion of 2nd degree attempted murder.
Berdon, an MMA fighter himself who holds a 7-2 record, is still in custody at the Honolulu PD main station.
He has not yet appeared before a judge,where bail could be set. It is believed a restraining order, barring contact, will be imposed if he makes bail.
Berdon’s family said he intends to vigorously dispute in court any allegations he assaulted his wife.
If convicted, Berdon could face life in prison with the possibility of parole.

Berdon was arrested on Monday evening on suspicion of second degree attempted murder and remains behind bars in a Honolulu jail, TMZ reports.
Since the incident his Instagram and Twitter pages have been made private.

Ostovich, 27, is 4-4 in her professional career and 1-1 in the UFC. She joined the promotion in 2017, defeating Karine Gevorgyan by first-round submission last December. She returned in July against Montana De La Rosa but lost by third-round submission.

Rachel was speaking out herself after her team earlier posted “As a result of these injuries she will not be able to compete in her upcoming bout with Paige VanZant on January 19th. Rachael is now home from the hospital with her family and will be going back for further check ups on her orbital. The family would like to ask for some privacy as they sort through this matter. We would like to thank the UFC for all their support on this matter as well as the fans and media for your concern.
