<p class="mol-para-with-font">A Kentucky man could not save his barely there toddler daughter, as a family member slaughtered her on Saturday morning in his own home.<br />
The father-of-nine heard his three-year-old daughter&#8217;s screams as her uncle slashed her throat in front of his four other children Kentucky police say.<br />
Beni Bulubenchi rushed to the room and tried to disarm his 33-year-old brother-in-law, Emmanuel Flutur, who slashed him as he intervened.<br />
Beni had heard the horrifying shrieks of his daughter Josephine over the baby monitor as her uncle attacked.<br />
Josephine Bulubenchi was critically injured in the which occurred in the family home on Saturday morning. She died at UK Children’s Hospital shortly before 5:30 p.m. Sunday.<br />
The coroner’s report lists the cause of death as homicide.</p>

<div class="teads-ui-components-label">Police in Clinton County, Kentucky, arrested Flutur who was too violent for them to be able to take a mugshot at the station, according to<a class="class" href="https://www.wymt.com/content/news/Kentucky-man-accused-of-slitting-three-year-old-nieces-throat--502328521.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener"> WYMT</a>.<br />
Flutur was working with the family, according to the broadcaster, and had been living with them.<br />
Neighbors told reporters: &#8216;They&#8217;re such a beautiful family the kids, mom, and the dad, they are very friendly the kids are out in the yard playing a lot.<br />
&#8216;It was just extremely heartbreaking. I just can&#8217;t imagine someone being able to do that.&#8217;</div>

<p>Beni posted a moving image on Facebook which appears to show his hands clutching his daughter&#8217;s tiny hand on her death bed.<br />
A <a class="class" href="https://uk.gofundme.com/familia-bulubenchi" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Just Giving page </a>has been set up to raise money to fly Josephine&#8217;s body to Michigan for her funeral and has already raised nearly $38,000 of the $50,000 target. The message on the crowd funding page reads: &#8216;The family would like to transport the body of the little girl to Michigan for funeral services. We would like to help cover the transport and funeral expenses.&#8217;<br />
The page states that Josephine is the daughter of Beni and Simona, who have nine children.<br />
Flutur initially was charged with first-degree assault and first-degree wanton endangerment and bail was set at $500,000. After the death of his niece on Sunday evening, the charges were upgraded to murder, assault and wanton endangerment with a $1 million bond placed over him after being remanded in solitary confinement.<br />
When Flutur was arrested on Saturday jail officials said he had been acting too violently for a mugshot.</div>
