<p class="mol-para-with-font">A former Seattle Seahawks defensive back was shot dead over a parking space with his neighbor Marcus Johnson, in Colorado, police said.<br />
Anthony &#8216;T.J.&#8217; Cunningham, 46, died on Monday after he was shot at a parking lot between two schools on Sunday, Arapahoe County police said.<br />
Cunningham had been involved in an altercation with his neighbor over the weekend and the pair had continued to bait each other over text message, the police said.</p>

<p>They agreed to &#8216;settle it&#8217; outside Eaglecrest High school on Sunday morning, ;<a class="class" href="https://www.9news.com/article/news/crime/deputies-former-seahawks-safety-shot-killed-over-parking-dispute-at-colorado-high-school/73-40dafeb0-d367-4712-b010-e23d2794908e" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">9 News ;</a>reported.<br />
The sheriff&#8217;s office said during the course of the argument, the 31-year-old Johnson shot Cunningham, several times.<br />
The suspect went home after the shooting, called 911 to say he had shot his neighbor and was arrested after deputies arrived, the sheriff&#8217;s office said.<br />

<p>Cunningham was ;an assistant principal for Aurora Public Schools and played for the University of Colorado before being drafted by the Seahawks in 1996.<br />
