<p class="mol-para-with-font">A skull recovered in Michigan has been identified as that of a beheading victim who was killed, along with his pregnant girlfriend in 2014, after meeting a man off Craigslist in a sex-for-cash deal.<br />
Authorities say the dead man, Charles Oppenneer, 25, was identified by his dental records.<br />
Oppenneer&#8217;s skull was found on private property in northern Kent County, nearly five years after he was murdered.<br />
Signs of trauma to the skull indicate Oppenneer was likely killed by a gunshot, Wyoming Department of Public Safety. It didn&#8217;t appear the skull had been left there recently, the press release said.<br />
The skull was discovered by a farmer on March 24 in woods along a road in Alpine Township near the Kent-Ottawa county line, more than 17 miles away from where body had been found nearly five years earlier.</p>

Slocum had posted a desperate message asking for $50 to buy medication. She agreed to meet and have sex with Oestrike in return for $120.</p>

In the video her recorded himself, he is seen with two guns next to a dog kennel. He had a pulley system rigged up to which he attached Brooke Slocum&#8217;s arms while her neck was attached to a chain that was bolted to the bathroom floor.<br />
He filmed the entire ordeal.<br />
Slocum was kidnapped by Oestrike, a supervisor at a gas company, and subjected to five days of torture in his home.<br />
Video footage was recovered from Oestrike&#8217;s home and police reports indicate Slocum was repeatedly assaulted and tortured along with being forced to smoke marijuana.</div>

Police later found long guns and hand guns all over Oestrike&#8217;s Taft Avenue house.<br />
On the evening of July 17, 2014, Oestrike backed his car out of his driveway and was immediately chased down by police.<br />
After a high-speed chase he crashed into railings and then killed himself.<br />
Slocum&#8217;s body was found in the trunk of his car.<br />
Her unborn daughter, who had been named Audi Lynn, also died.<br />
Shortly after the murders, senior police officers described it as the &#8216;one of the worst ever.&#8217;<br />
A special &#8216;crisis intervention stress management team&#8217; was made available to officers trying to deal with the horrors they&#8217;d witnessed.<br />
Greg Slocum, Brooke Slocum&#8217;s father said that he knew about the couple&#8217;s schemes and that his daughter was desperate to do anything her boyfriend insisted so that they would stay together to bring up their child.<br />
Police reports show that just weeks before Slocum&#8217;s kidnap and murder, Oestrike had developed another relationship with a woman he met on Craigslist.</p>

She moved in with Oestrike who she said drugged her, asked her to be his sex slave, and put guns to her head.<br />
When Oestrike left for work, he would chain her by the neck. She said he kept a &#8216;sex room&#8217; in the basement and was at times forced to sleep in a kennel if she didn&#8217;t &#8216;listen to him.&#8217;</p>

After been badly beaten and whipped she left, telling police about the assault but not bringing charges.<br />
The woman also expressed concern that Oestrike had children&#8217;s books and sippy cups in his house despite there being no sign of any children.</p>
