Belizaire, 40, allegedly assaulting the man during her overnight shift at the Brookshire Assisted Living Facility in Melbourne in December.<br />
Belizaire, who is a certified nurse, was allegedly found by coworkers naked and getting dressed in the man&#8217;s bathroom at about 5am on December 13.<br />
Police said employees noticed the man &#8216;distraught and confused&#8217; in his bed.&#8217;She jumped on me and raped me,&#8217; the man told police when they were called to the facility.</p>

Police said employees at the nursing home had been looking for Belizaire after noticing she had been absent for more than 90 minutes. Belizaire denied ever being in the room with the victim but provided police with a DNA saliva swab.<br />
The elderly man, who suffers from dementia and Alzheimer&#8217;s disease, was taken to a nearby hospital where a sexual assault kit was completed.<br />

<div>DNA evidence from the kit was returned to police on March 25 and police said it confirmed the victim&#8217;s claim that he had been assaulted by Belizaire.<br />
Police issued an arrest warrant for Belizaire on charges of lewd and lascivious molestation of an elderly person and abuse of an elderly person.<br />
Belizaire was taken into custody on Monday and faced a judge the following day where she was held on $10,000 bond. She will be arraigned next month.</div>

&#8216;Our center complies with numerous state and federal regulations, as well as internal policies that are designed to keep residents safe.<br />
&#8216;While the ongoing investigation of this case prevents us from commenting on details, we followed all of the appropriate protocols, including the immediate suspension and eventual termination of the employee in question. We will continue to fully cooperate with local authorities and state agencies as their investigation continues.&#8217;</p>
