<p>The search continues for a 23-year-old University of Utah student who stopped talking with family not long after she arrived at Salt Lake City International Airport almost on June 17.<br />
Mackenzie Lueck&#8217;s parents reported her missing Thursday afternoon, according to the <a href="https://www.sltrib.com/news/2019/06/22/university-utah-student/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Salt Lake Tribune.</a> &#8211; She reportedly texted her parents not long after midnight Monday when she arrived at the airport from California just prior to getting a Lyft ride.<br />
The college student is still missing nearly a week after her family last heard from her, and her relatives are pleading for answers.<br />

<p><span style="color: var(--color-text);">Police have talked to the ride-hailing service and to the driver who picked Lueck up at the airport.<br />
</span><span style="color: var(--color-text);">The investigation “has not discovered any information that would lead us to believe that Mackenzie has been harmed or is in danger at this time,” police said last week.</span><br />
Her family and friends have requested Facebook <a href="https://www.facebook.com/FindMacKenzieLueck">postings</a> from individuals with updates in search efforts.<br />
<span style="color: var(--color-text);">The police statement added, though, that “detectives are concerned for Mackenzie’s welfare” and ask anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact Salt Lake City Police at 801-799-3000 and reference case No. 19-111129.</span></p>
