The 27-year-old married father-of-two allegedly had admitted to the police, that he killed American marine biologist Dr Suzanne Eaton on island of Crete in Greece.<br />
</span>The suspect who on Monday allegedly admitted to the crime had a “passion” for nature and knew the caves of the island, which researched the relevant videos and uploaded them to YouTube. He had done the same with the cave where he hid the 60-year-old body.</p>

<p class="mol-para-with-font">Police sources in Crete said he was arrested over the weekend and has reportedly <a href="https://konniemoments.com/2019/07/13/police-hunting-killers-of-american-biologists-close-to-making-arrests-focus-on-neo-nazi-sympathizers-on-the-greek-island-of-crete-after-her-suzanne-eatons-body-was-found-at-the-bottom-of-nazi-bu/">confessed to killing Dr Eaton</a>, a the 59-year-old American born molecular biologist who went missing July 2 while attending a conference on the Greek island.<br />
Her body was found six days later in an old Nazi bunker near a fishing village after it was spotted by two locals.<br />
Detectives started investigations believing that only a local person would have known the locality of the hidden cave, which was a former Nazi bunker.<br />
<span style="color: var(--color-text);">Yiannis Paraskakis</span> is believed to come from Maleme, which is a only a few miles from the hidden 200-feet long cave’s location. Sources said police believed the suspect, a local farmer, had sexual motives.<br />

She was attacked as she walked back to the convention center she had been staying at. ‘He hit her with his car to stop her from running and then stabbed her’ said the source.<br />
An autopsy revealed that Dr. Eaton died of suffocation after the airways of the mouth and nose were blocked.<br />
Police tracked down <span style="color: var(--color-text);">Paraskakis</span> by tracing his cell phone to the area and found his car tracks near the cave.</p>

Police believe the location of the caves would only have been known to a few around there and particularly those with an interest in Nazi background.<br />
It comes as Dr Eaton&#8217;s family pay heartfelt tributes to her.<br />
