<p class="mol-para-with-font">A Florida man accused of drugging an autistic 15-year-old boy with Xanax and morphine in addition to sexually assaulting the child two days before he died was arrested on Tuesday.<br />
Authorities said they charged Alain Luis Forget, 58, of Lakeland, Florida, with lewd and lascivious battery on a child less than 16 and two counts of delivery of a controlled substance to a minor.<br />
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement said the teen boy&#8217;s grandmother gave Forget permission to take him to a rural Hamilton County home owned by Forget&#8217;s late father on December 27, 2017.<br />
The child was found unresponsive at the home two days later, prompting Forget to call an ambulance. The teen was pronounced dead later at a local hospital.<br />
The State Medical Examiner&#8217;s Office found Xanax and morphine in the child&#8217;s system and later determined he died from pneumonia and drug toxicity.<br />
&#8216;During interviews, additional sexual abuse allegations were made against Forget, Agents believe there could be additional victims,&#8217; the FCLE said in a release on Forget&#8217;s arrest. &#8216;Agents believe Forget gave the child drugs and sexually battered him prior to his death.&#8217;</p>

<p class="mol-para-with-font">Forget was arrested Tuesday and booked into the Lake County Jail. The case is ongoing and there could be additional charges.<br />
It&#8217;s unclear why it took authorities two years to arrest Forget, but investigators said he has additional residences in Lakeland and Sorrento, Florida, and he may have assaulted other children as well.<br />

This is not the first time Forget has been arrested for molesting a child.<br />
Forget was sentenced in 1995 to three years in prison for indecent assault on a child under 16, according to Florida Department of Corrections records. He served less than a year in state prison, from September 1995 to July 1996.<br />
He also was sentenced to a year in prison for cocaine possession in 2000, serving from February 2000 to January 2001, according to FDC records.<br />
He also has previous charges for drug possession, selling and tne manufacturing of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia dating back to 1999.</p>
