<p>An African American homeowner says he endured the &#8220;most humiliating experience of my life&#8221; when white police officers answered a false burglar alarm at his North Carolina home and ended up placing him in handcuffs at gunpoint and walking him to a police car in just his underwear as his neighbors watched.<br />
&#8220;I was counting the seconds because I thought he was going to kill me,&#8221; Kazeem Oyeneyin, 31, told <a href="https://abcnews.go.com/US/security-guard-pleads-guilty-pulling-gun-ohio-sheriffs/story?id=64346648">ABC News</a> on Saturday of the confrontation with police at his home in Raleigh. &#8220;He was shaking the gun. </span>Kazeem Oyeneyin, 31, of Raleigh, said he was left &#8216;humiliated&#8217; in front of his neighbors after the officers handcuffed him and walked him out to their patrol car in his underwear as his neighbors watched on in shock.<br />
In the video, one officer is seen with his gun drawn as he yells for Oyeneyin to come out of the house.<br />
&#8216;Come on out here. Come on out for me,&#8217; the officer says as Oyeneyin is heard in the background letting the officer know he had a firearm.<br />
&#8216;Drop the gun,&#8217; the officer orders. The sound of Oyeneyin dropping the gun can be heard in the video seconds later.<br />
&#8216;Come on out of the house please!&#8217; the officer says, to which Oyeneyin responds: &#8216;I got on my draws.&#8217;</p>

A confused Oyeneyin then asks &#8216;for what?&#8217; before complying with the officer who is holding him at gunpoint.<br />
The officer is seen cuffing Oyeneyin who continues to ask why he&#8217;s being arrested.<br />
&#8216;I just talked to the alarm people,&#8217; Oyeneyin explains after the officer told him they were responding to a burglar alarm.<br />
The clip then cuts to the arresting officer explaining to another officer what transpired.</p>

&#8216;I go downstairs. I disengage the alarm. I go back upstairs, I laid down. Twenty minutes later, I just hear these loud noises,&#8217; Oyeneyin told <a class="class" href="https://abcnews.go.com/US/humiliating-experience-life-black-north-carolina-man-handcuff/story?id=65170182&;cid=clicksource_4380645_null_sq_hed" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">ABC News</a>.<br />
&#8216;So, I come down my steps, I grab my gun because I don&#8217;t know who&#8217;s in the house,&#8217; he added.<br />

Oyeneyin said it was the &#8216;most humiliating experience of my life&#8217;.<br />
&#8216;I mean, I felt like my character was defamed. I went outside the other day, the neighbors wouldn&#8217;t even wave at me. They don&#8217;t know what&#8217;s going on. They think I&#8217;m a whole criminal over here,&#8217; he told ABC.<br />
Oyeneyin, who has lived in his home for nearly five years, said he doesn&#8217;t have a criminal record and has a permit to carry a concealed weapon.<br />
Raleigh police said the &#8216;department is looking into this incident and reviewing our officers&#8217; actions&#8217;, and they had&#8217;attempted to contact the homeowner several times over the past few days to discuss this incident with him&#8217;.</p>
