<p data-page="1">A self-described “dirty rapist,” who sexually assaulted a woman last year for hours at gunpoint on a Queens street was sentenced Thursday to 17 years in prison.<br />
<span style="color: var(--color-text);">After his arrest for the Dec. 29 attack, George Persaud, 24, blamed drugs for his behavior.</span></p>

<p><span style="color: var(--color-text);">“I’m a dirty rapist,” Persaud said in a taped conversation with cops, according to a prosecutor. “That’s clearly me. I guess I raped her.”<br />
</span><span style="color: var(--color-text);">Prosecutors said Persaud, of Ozone Park, approached a 40-year-old woman on 93rd St. in Jamaica shortly before midnight and displayed what appeared to be a firearm.<br />
</span><span style="color: var(--color-text);">“Don’t do anything stupid or I’ll kill you,&#8221; he told her, prosecutors said.<br />
</span><span style="color: var(--color-text);">He was accused of raping a woman on a street in Queens, New York during an hours-long attack in which he threatened to kill her if she resisted, police and law enforcement sources said.<br />
</span><span style="color: var(--color-text);">Police </span><span style="color: var(--color-text);">said he forced the victim to a secluded area, where he made her perform a sex act on him and raped her for hours in the back seat of her car.<br />
</span><span style="color: var(--color-text);">She escaped when Persaud stepped out of the car to relieve himself, and she used her spare set of keys to drive away.</span></p>

<p>The culprit was tagged by the heavy tattoo across his chest saying “Only The Strong Survive”.<br />
<span style="color: var(--color-text);">Persaud was arrested a week later by cops who had video of the suspect walking in the area of the attack. According to court records, a palm print was retrieved from a window inside the victim’s car and matched to the defendant.<br />
</span><span style="color: var(--color-text);">“This is an offense that is every woman’s worst nightmare,” said Queens Judge Richard Buchter.<br />
</span><span style="color: var(--color-text);">“The victim was repeatedly sodomized then raped by [by her attacker] in the back of her car who also took her keys away from her.”<br />
</span><span style="color: var(--color-text);">Judge Buchter said Persaud will probably be deported. If not, he faces 15 years of supervised release after his prison sentence.<br />
</span><span style="color: var(--color-text);">“The defendant’s actions were disgusting and unacceptable in a civilized society,” said Acting Queens DA John Ryan.</span></p>
