A 20-year-old illegal immigrant was arrested after he allegedly kidnapped an 11-year-old girl off the street in front of her Florida home and raped her last week.
The violent pedophile was identified by authorities in Palm Beach County, Florida as Marvin Dionel Perez Lopez who allegedly forced his young victim into his van where the sexual assault took place.
The child’s mother, in of her daughter noticed the white van not far from the apartment building her family and Lopez both live.
The mother actually caught a glimpse of her daughter and Lopez in the van and began banging on the door, shouting at Lopez to free the girl, at which point Lopez fled from the van, according to an arrest report.
The victim’s mother then marched up to the apartment where Lopez lives with his brother.
The brother reportedly, got the suspect to come home. That is when he was confronted by the sixth-grader’s mother.

The mother reportedly didn’t call the police because she was afraid due to her immigration status and a prior incident when her daughter was taken from her by authorities for a short time.
County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw said workers at the Guatemalan Maya Center alerted them about the sexual assault.
Investigators interviewed the victim who told them that Lopez forced himself on her even after she tried to refuse and get away. she told investigators that her attacker grabbed her hand and told her to “get into the van.” As he started touching her she pushed Lopez away and was able to get out of the van, but, he grabbed her and pulled her back into the vehicle then assaulted her.
When detectives who went to interview the suspect at his apartment on Friday night, Lopez exited a window in the back of the home and ran into an alley.
A family member at the suspect’s home told cops Lopez ran “because of what happened yesterday,” saying that the girl’s mother came to their door and told him. Police confirmed his arrest on Monday.


Local station WPTV reports that the suspect, Marvin Lopez, is a recent arrival from Guatemala, who left his home in Central American country sometime in January.
Crossing into Mexico, he reportedly surrendered to border patrol and was given a court date in 2027, after which he was released. At the end of January, he made it to Florida.
Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw said that Lopez ‘has confessed to the crime.’
‘He’s gonna get tried for a capital crime before he even remotely thinks he’s gonna get deported. He’s gonna do the time here first,’ Bradshaw said.
Speaking to CBS12, Palm Beach County Victim Services director Nicole Bishop noted that, stranger rape is uncommon: ‘Stranger rape is far less prevalent than acquaintance rape. So most oftentimes it is someone that the person knows’.

Since his arrival the suspect has been living with his brother’s family. Following the horrendous crime, his sister-in-law Hermencia Vasquez, [photo], said she asked him if he would be responsible for the 11-year-old girl’s baby if she got pregnant from his alleged rape, to which he answered in the affirmative

Hermencia Vasquez, Lopez’s sister-in-law, said she was home when the alleged victim’s mother also came rapping at her door.
‘It was 9 at night and the lady/mom came into my house saying that something happened with her daughter and Marvin,” Vasquez said in an interview with WPTV, ‘I asked Marvin what would he do if she got pregnant and if he would be responsible, and he said yes he would be responsible for the child.’
Lopez was taken into custody on counts of kidnapping to sexually assault a minor, sexual assault of a victim under 12 years old, and resisting an officer without violence. 
He’s currently being held in the Palm Beach County jail without bond.

Authorities in Palm Beach County said, the latest incident comes just months after three undocumented immigrants from Guatemala were also accused of forcing a woman into a car and sexually assaulting her at two locations in Palm Beach County, officials said.
According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, the victim was able to escape and flagged down a passerby to help her. The suspects, Andres Felipe Morales, Darinel Ordonez Jimenez, 30, and Marcos Felipe Ramirez, 31, were arrested and booked into the Palm Beach County jail.
Morales was facing charges of sexual assault and false imprisonment and the others are being held on two counts of felony criminal conspiracy.
