The 40-year-old high school math teacher allegedly, also sent texts to the teen about how she could not &#8216;breathe&#8217; without him. </span></div>

The charging documents state that the relationship was uncovered after two students from McFarland High School had their cell phones confiscated by the school on October 11, when they appeared under the influence.<br />

In the text, &#8216;Elvia&#8217; was reportedly asking the teen if he wanted to get breakfast with her.<br />

<p class="mol-para-with-font">The student told authorities that he and the teacher began talking at the end of August after she offered to tutor him. The pair quickly developed a relationship.<br />
They exchanged phone numbers and flirted with each other and soon began meeting outside school.<br />
At a point <span style="color: var(--color-text);">Gonzalez, who has children, sent the student pictures of herself in a bra.<br />
</span>In one text, Gonzalez allegedly told the student &#8216;I can&#8217;t breathe without you&#8217; and &#8216;I&#8217;m only yours,&#8217; investigators who examined the teen’s phone wrote in court document.<br />
<span style="color: var(--color-text);">Gonzalez would pick him up and drive them to unincorporated areas outside McFarland, where they had sex in her vehicle, the teen told police.<br />
</span>During his interview with McFarland police, the student said he had sex with Gonzalez between 10 to 15 times, about half the time without protection, according to the document.<br />
The teen also claimed that they showered together at Gonzalez’s residence when her children were away. &#8211; The pair last had sex about a week before Gonzalez’s arrest, he said.</p>

<p class="mol-para-with-font">&#8216;The well-being of the student in this unfortunate situation is concerning and our sympathies go out to him and his family,&#8217; Resendez said in a statement. &#8216;The District has made available counseling and other support services to assist them during this very difficult time.<br />
He later revealed that the woman was related to him &#8211; Gonzalez reportedly, is Resendez&#8217;s sister-in-law.<br />
&#8216;That is why I have directed the district&#8217;s legal counsel to assume lead role in conducting a thorough, independent investigation to gather all the facts,&#8217; Resendez said.</p>
